The way to prove it is look at how much time you have to shoot free throws. Under 10 seconds its Superstar/Hall of Fame and over 10 its Pro/All-Star.

I see. I will check that out. Not that it matters too much anyway at this point. Can't get into 2K10 that much right now.

The sliders help make the mode less "frustrating"
Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.

sorry guys, but it this feature confirmed for 2k11 anyway? i.e. fully adjustable sliders and settings for my player throughout?

just hoping they have fixed their mistakes for the mode fully. (sorry if i missed the answer as im sure it has been asked many times)

Just adjust everything before you start the mode, and all the adjustments will apply to the file.

Difficulty and settings were confirmed. Not sliders specifically but I'd imagine those as well.

Yeah, lol, i knew people who would put the ball handling slider at 0 so they could steal and dunk all game with their Myplayer and level up faster.

The ease of freethrows is a dead give away, also the lack of canned P&R animations that are seen at Superstar and HoF levels.... also the free throw limitation that was mentioned.

Uhm, dunno how many people here are also on the 2KSports forums, but some of you might remember me as the guy that played (and youtube'd) a full season before the game was released.... As far as Sliders go, it worked with Draft Combined imported players until the patch that disabled all settings (including minutes).

When they added the function to change minutes later, they didn't "re-enable" sliders.

So yes, it's technically possible to play My Player with sliders, as long as you do not patch the game. But that of course also gives you the eleventy billion bugs like clone, etc.

Actually it does still work with the patch.

And I'm so glad I read this thread. It has made games closer and that much more enjoyable in this mode.

With the exception of the free throw limitation, that all sounds subjective. Did you actually test to see about the free throw limitation?

I didnt realize this but an added treat that I hope carries over to NBA 2k11 is that roster modifications carry over too. Shoes, accessories and shot changes from what I can tell.

^^^ Yes, they do. Which is why I am persuaded that everything carries over. I am going to test the freethrow thing.

edit: custom stadium sounds do as well.
