Check with your store anyway. My store is doing a midnight release and they are NOT on the game stop list of stores doing one. So just give your local store a call.

where is this list at?

also any word on wal-mart releasing this tonight?

I just stopped by at the Gamestop branch close to my house (where I made the pre-order for the PC version last month). There was this 2K11 MJ "Wings" poster (with the PS3 controller) outside the door, so I though "Mmm...that's a good sign!". I saw pile of 2K11's for the PS3 on the counter behind the guys there. Then I talked to one of the guys and asked him about my pre-order for the PC version. He checked and saw that there isn't supposed to be something coming tomorrow and they don't have the PC version yet. The other guy said that it can come tomorrow or maybe in a week or 2, they don't know. I told him that "a week or 2" in the gaming world is like 2 years! He agreed, but there's not much he can do.

I sure hope it's the last year of playing games on PC. Really hope to buy a PS3 around the end of the year. It's time to move on and never deal with this delay and all system requirements BS again.

Thx for the thread, there are four stores near me doing midnight sales (Maryland). Gonna head over to Cap Centre Plaza tonight and switch my preorder at the other store to something else. Didn't think any places were doing midnight sales - thx!

I stay about 7 mins from Game Stop imma go up there at 12a just to see if its open, I could go to Wal-Mart but I want to trade in NCAA 11.

I caved in and went to the midnight released, and I seriously underestimated the crowd that would be waiting for this game (even seen a group of females picking up copies). Gamestop was packed, and most of the people (at least 30 people inside when I showed up @ 12 on the dot) was acting like they couldn't wait even though barely any of em had the game reserved. One of the Gamestop employees acted like he couldn't do his job and give people the game that actually reserved it because he was too busy engaging folks in a debate over the Heat. It was packed though, and I definitely didn't think this game would garner the showing that it did at this time of the night because basketball isn't exactly football in popularity, but I underestimated the popularity and the demand for this game.
