This game is the truth

(ps3) First impression going in is the players move much better. It's an entirely different game...almost. It's 2k but it's probably the most realistic basketball simulation i've felt. Players don't feel like they have a magnetic field between them.

Defense: It feels like it's up to me to make the right defensive decision on a play. Blocking is way more responsive and the AI likes to bat the ball around rather than just let the fast break occur as in 2k10.

Offense: Your teammates help you get open, wether it's for them or for your self the spacing is top notch. If I control (KOBE for example) The double team comes and leaves fisher wide open in the corner for an easy three, this is something I didn't see in 2k10. Bynum and Gasol grab offensive rebounds (Wow).

I'm very impressed overall, Someone said arcade style but I don't see it. I know NBA live has the arcade feel I think 2k11 with the new controls and faster gameplay brings the best of both worlds. I wish 2k and EA would come together and make the ultimate basketball. They both have what it takes only 2k now has the advantage.

I'll wait and see what EA has to offer. I enjoyed LIVE 10 as much as 2k10 I was super impressed like am now.

Great great game i absolutely love it. But i do have 2 very small annoyances 1 i am experiencing some slow down because of the photo flashes in the crowd while going up for a dunk. This is on the ps3 by the way. Its very small but you can see it.

And 2 this is not important at all but it is annoying. There is a guy with a high pitched voice screaming in the crowd it is kinda repetitive i am sure people that have a surround sound can hear it as well.

HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS YET THE NEW PASSING FEATURE Total Control Passing – Adding versatility to our game, especially for advanced users, is always a must and passing presents great opportunities for that. In 2K11 we’re adding a passing feature called Total Control Passing, which gives users the ability to take control of a teammate off the ball while also determining when and where he will be thrown the ball. While holding the right button (on the 360; R1 on the PS3), the user will be presented with the passing icon buttons, at which point holding one of those buttons allows for the user to manually control the movement of the corresponding player with the left stick. Releasing that button while keeping the right button held (on the 360; or R1 on the PS3) results in a pass to the user. If the user releases the right button (on the 360; or R1 on the PS3) while keeping the receiver’s button held, the user will temporarily take control of the player until he calls for a pass. IF ANYONE DOES THIS CORRECTLY PLEASE POST!!!!!

Maybe. I'm not seeing many passes being picked or defensive plays in general though. Also not seeing much fouling either, only 2 total (1 shot foul) in 5+ games. Off ball movement as well is still non existent every now and then. Things like that may not differ much between levels. We'll see.

Lol then your game might be broke because right now right before i puased Kobe was fighting to get past pierce moving across the court as artest started to roatate to the other side..oh while this happened pau ran up to me to apply a screen. Maybe your demo's broke
