I LOVE playing this way, but you have to know its a personal preference. Back in the day you could only play the "2k" way...hence why its called that. But I am glad they put different camera angels in for people to play the way they like.

Hey can anyone remember back in the days of old online gaming, you BOTH had to play on the SAME camera angle??? LOL

I was just talking to someone about that yesterday lol.

The whole reasoning for me is that in broadcast when the player is on the other side of the court. I can't tell whats left or right because my player is facing me. When in the 2k camera. I'm right behind my players. So left is always...Right is always right...etc. etc. I've always thought broadcast was perfect for presenting a game.

But again its to each its own. Hopefully 2k never forgets that. I wonder what the Devs favorite angles are....

Yeah it is all about personal preference. 2k cam is the only way for me. Left is left, right is right, up is up, down is down. Plus you can see the whole court better when it comes to passing lanes and driving lanes.

Broadcast cam, everything looks way narrower then it really is and the controls always mess me up. 2k cam and I kill iso control. Broadcast cam and I totally mess up iso control LMAO.

I tried this a ton last night and got nothing. But I've always been horrible with isomotion on the broadcast cam.

The only move I can do consistently is the crossover (from broadcast view) lol....Thats probably why I have stayed away from the demo.

                    Re: Pulling off sig moves...

These are the sig moves I've been able to pull off thusfar:

reverse pivot -- LT+Y+LS in crossover movement

pump fake and step under shot -- LT+RS(flick)+ LS in direction +RS second flick + LS in direction

I also pulled off a crazy Hakeem Olajuwon-esque one hand fake turn around jumper, but I haven't been able to pull it off again.

EDIT: Ok, I just pulled off two ILL moves which included a one hand ball fake before the shot. It seems to have to do with the flick, flick controls Beluba described. It seems depending on the direction of the left and/or right stick, the animation will be different. I wish I could pinpoint how I did it but all I know is that the LT+LS+RS buttons are included.

First time trying with Kobe he did a pump fake then seemed to lean into the jumper into the lane. It was very niiiiice

I'm grasping the controls little by little. I'm going to abuse Kobe in the demo to get a feel for ISO!

Hey guys, I am like the OP in that I am thinking about jumping over to 2K this year. The chance to play with Bird, McHale, and DJ are just too much for me to stay away.

I am struggling to get the isomotion moves down although I am working at it. It is just tough to get a flow going with 4 minutes of gameplay in the demo. I have a question too about the shooting. Do you all stay primarily on shot stick? My brain keeps telling me to use the button. Also, do you need to press in the LT to get a dunk? I have watched the videos on control and read the posts about how to perform some of the moves. As I said, I am still struggling but see a huge amount of potential in opening up a huge arsenal.

                        Thanks.

For me personally I feel weird going from the shot stick to the button because the shot stick gives so much control and I feel like I have more input in what my player is doing. The button takes all of that away so i'd say to stick with the shot stick

If your just starting out I would say use the button. Once you get a hang of that. I move to the stick.

Finally got it last night, my issue was that I was letting the LS move back to neutral which seems to kill the ability to do the a flick-flick move. Gotta keep the LS pressed in a direction (to keep momentum going I suppose) and then do the flick-flick process.

Pretty cool stuff, though I wasn't using it in context very well and was getting my shots swatted left and right when doing this lol.
