I can't believe you just said that lol....look if we were talking about "back in the day". When dribbling was done with buttons and the CPU. Basically tells which hand does everything (Less control). Broadcast would probably rock lol. but now a days...you'll notice you do moves consistently from the bottom of the screen....not the top. You notice those Kobe Demo Reels/Mixes must of the moves are done either at the bottom of the courtHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
can't really say since they changed the angle/view for 2k11 is it still called broadcast? If so broadcast feels the most real to meComment

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
For me, it's got to be 2K, because it better replicates the view you have when you're playing basketball, as opposed to watching basketball. I haven't even finished a whole game of the demo because I can't stand broadcast view. It does absolutely nothing for me.
It's always funny to me when videos from Da Czar or someone else use a north/south view and everyone complains "It looks so boring! Switch to broadcast!" It makes me think those people are used to being in the bleachers rather than on the court. Just my opinion, though. Not meaning to offend anyone.Comment

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
i think people who use the broadcast cam are more concerned with how the game looks rather than how it plays...they just want to act like they're watching a real game, but they're missing out on more responsive controls and better court vision. 2k view (or any behind the player view) is simply works better with the controls and allows you to see the floor better...there's no denying it.Comment

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
I'm also a skybox fan myself....IT'S THE ULTIMATE for court vision
2K cam at times can give of blindspots out in the wing which can result in steals or just passed to a well guarded playerComment

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
You can say the same for 2k view, when the ball swings to the corner, the controls are going to be a little different. Broadcast view when you at the bottom of the screen controls like 2k cam from the top.I can't believe you just said that lol....look if we were talking about "back in the day". Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
I had always used 2k cam till the last 2 years. 2k cam has had framerate issues and lag since they upgraded crowd detail. If this is fixed in 2k11 I'll use it again, if not though I'll probably use broadcast.Comment

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
I speak for myself only, but you're right. I do want the game to look like a real game on TV, and just don't like the 2K cam. I know it's more "logical" to play with the 2K cam, yet I just can't bring myself to do that (although I've tried in the past).i think people who use the broadcast cam are more concerned with how the game looks rather than how it plays...they just want to act like they're watching a real game, but they're missing out on more responsive controls and better court vision. 2k view (or any behind the player view) is simply works better with the controls and allows you to see the floor better...there's no denying it.My Specs:

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
Yeah 2K cam is really corny and all... Considering it is called 2K and was the original Camera View. The reason they went to broadcast was because it looks better graphically and is easy on the system which is pathetic.
If you want to win games 2K Cam is the way to go, there is a reason why in practice mode when you run plays it has you at 2k Cam... so you can actually see what the hell is going on.Comment

That's the thing lol. I Don't have a problem with move execution anywhere on the court. I've played from that view enough where it's not really a problem. It used to be, though.Comment

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
I'm going to give nosebleeds and 2K some good practice and then decide from there.
I'll go with whatever gives the best overall experience.

Re: I'm new to 2K...The Best Camera Angle?
2k cam is the most intuitive angle for cheesers and sim ballers alike. Turbo for player lock 2k for association and quick games. Most broadcast users are former live or current live fans and most 2k cam users are the on of the few people who supported 2k in its early years. Broadcast looks better though if you want to watch a virtual game.Comment
