3 pointers are too hard to come by when it comes to your teammates sinking them....i rarely ever give it luol deng outside...only person i give it to is keith bogans or kyle korver since i dont care about their stats....since my 3point shot is maxed out now...im usually the only person who attempts my team's 3 point shots.....i can only recommend you get the pick and roll play down and feed the ball inside for an easy lay-up or dunk

Not to start anything but it surprising that you, a bulls fan used Deng as an example. Deng is one of the worst outside shooter in the NBA he only ever takes a handful of 3s and outside shots a year.

Hell I remember one year when he only attempted 7 3s the entire year. For his career he is 113-373. This means nothing but I just thought it was odd that you used a guy who actively admits he has no outside game (which is backed by his piss poor stats from outside) as an example there. Its like trying to use Tony Parker for an example of people not dunking right.

By the way I like Deng he is a great slasher.

I've been beginning to get more steals lately but not because im getting better at them just because I've been in the right place at the right time ! lol

first off im just playing as the bulls...not really an avid follower of the team in real life...but i can see the misunderstanding

none of the starters on the bulls are even good from the perimeter(rose cant shoot 3's either)...i know this even without having to follow their actual stats...it's highly apparent when i see them throwing up shots and missing...

i was merely going off of what the game rates deng as and that is solid a B+ from outside scoring...noah and deng are the most neglected starters when i play...they get their points only when i know they have an easy cut to the basket...other than that i rarely ever feed them the ball

best way to coordinate a steal is when your opponent is inbounding the ball...make sure you cover their PG...the inbounder will have no other choice but to pass it to the SG in order to bring it up court....a high percentage of the time the SG will try to get the ball back to his PG...that's when i usually disrupt the passing lane and intercept the pass...i always tipped the ball at least during the earlier part of the season...now that my defensive stats are vastly improved i can actually catch the pass

BAD NEWS

i picked an injury for 3 weeks (didnt play through) middle of the season . and when i came back .. i lost my 1st place in league leaders .. iam way below with the LAST 5 players ! even my stats are still the best 49.1 ppg 5.4 apg 9.7 rpg 1.6 blocks and 2.1 steals . i played next 2 matches and got player of the game as usual with very good stats . and still not there

even this star icon by my stamina bar . is not there any more

is this a bug or somthing ? its bad feeling to lose your 1st place when you are the 1st and by big difference . ok i can live with that .. but losing my star icon !!!! come on now

Im also a PG for Memphis. We've had our good and bad times but mostly bad lol. Even though we won the championship my 1st season it's still hard to play with them. They miss to many wide open shots but make the difficult one's. They should have addressed that in the patch.

since it wasnt a key game...i lowered my quarters to 5 minutes and even though i got an overall teammate grade of A+, offense of A- and defense of B...the insider just said my coach took away my ability to call plays ....um ok...

had 25pts, 10 ast, 2 stl and 1 blk

I want to add the Jordan faded to my weapons list on my 90 rated SG. Do you think I need both Shot Low Post (Ability to shoot from Post) and offensive low post (ability to do post moves)?

Also I have a 90 in on ball defense and I still get scored on rather easily. I dont know if this is just user error but the Lock on D isnt very lock on this go round and I am getting killed for 20 every game.

How did you get to 90 on ball? I maxed out at 65 :S Is it because I'm a rookie or something?

stats cap for certain type(specialties) of players and positions... a SG who is a 3pt. specialist has a cap of 65 for on ball defense... http://2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=270905

I dont know what role is your player? I have a scoring SG, my on ball is currently at 90 and not even maxed out. I believe I can go to 99 if I wanted but I never bothered.

like 33-34 min out of 40 / 1114 min in 35 games . i had better ppg but its low now cause i missed like 8 games cause of injury

my player mode(since this is what the thread is about):
-addressed a hang that would sometimes occur when completing a game during the NBA time period.

-the user’s team will now be more efficient in finding a trade to one of the requested teams when a Trade Request is made.

-fixed a soft hang that would occur when loading an in-game save that was created during a timeout situation. This change also affects in-game saves created in the various game modes

-the Rookie of the Year Milestone should now properly unlock when the conditions are met.

-addressed a playcalling issue where the dribbler would hold the ball until the last second during My Player games.

-PlayVision art is now drawn on the floor when the CPU calls a play, easily enabling the user to follow the action on the court.

-home court advantage (for simulated games) has been toned down during the regular season, and even more so during the playoffs

-fixed a bug where coaches would get fired continuously

-existing NBA players should no longer have their signature animations changed at the end of every season based on their skill progression/regression

-fixed an issue where generated players would be created with the award history of a player currently in the Hall of Fame

-tuned rookie generation code such that incoming talent is more in-line with players already in the league. Other generation improvements were made as well, including better secondary position logic along with adjustments to the size of the incoming players
