    1) Try off-ball pick calling to get PG's called play stopped: I hope this will allow more free play and touches for my 49 overall SG. May also allow me to try to pick for ball carriers adding to teamwork score

2)Dunk is...gone: with dunking much harder to do (i read a post that until it hits around 90 does it start working more predictably), I plan to get my teamwork score up by grabbing boards.

    3) Work the boards: The new patch seems to suck me up into more boxouts, but I plan to work the key area and see if I can up boards, more specifically Offensive rebounds, as this give me a chance to put back and get some points and/or fouled.

I will play a few more games trying these and report back. Thanks to Enigma and others that have put through suggestions. I love the SG position so I am going to find a way to make it work.
    Ok I played 3 more games and here is my thoughts on my own points;

    1) I cant seem to be able to call off-ball picks (maybe you never could?). Interesting note, though, when I did hav ball I could not call for a pick and roll either. Maybe its cause I am the 6th man and not starting. Either way, could not use to help.

    2) OMG! Finally got a dunk in my first game and third game. Was totally excited. But, still not able to depend on this for teammate score.

    3) Boards! In one game I got 11 boards! most ever for me and ended up with my first double-double. Earned an A teammate score that game too. Blocked shots help alot with teammate score as well, but not as dependable. So does a good defense on shot, but you usually have no chance at a rebound.

Overall, it was hard going. I earned in on game a c+ and 385 points. The most was the A game at around 1300 points.

Thanks for the help guys. The thing is i used to get picked 1st round - late 20's, and there are some teams i want to avoid like the Grizzlies (already played there) and the Wizards (they don't need another promising PG). I'll try a few times to go to NY, if i can't i'll do it the right way and accept whatever team wants me.

My thoughts overall is that playing a SG in MP post patch is just a very difficult challenge as play calling will not go in your favor. Obviously, if you get better I am sure you get more touches, but if you are going for the ROTY or other rookie challenges. I will say I was put in as point guard in the first qtr as my PG had 2 personals. I only had 6 pints up to that time, but in about 5 min, I had scored 28 as the PG. And it ws more contrallable and enjoyable.

I highly suggest you pick something other than a SG, or SF,unless you don't care about the challenges. Still a 49 overall at 10 games in, and I think I might just hang this guy up and start a new PG. If they come out with a patch to fix the playcalling option to off, I feel like you can control the game MUCH better as the PG. Just know if you go SG, it is a very diffcult challenge and just be aware of this when you choose. Again, these are just my observations post patch.

Seeing how many people dislike this feature I dont see how they can't make an option to turn it off.

Just posted a quadruple double(now hold the nba record for most steals and have 20 triple doubles for my career)

            9 min. quarters
            all-star/default

im going oscar robertson on the league...it's so not realistic at all

            leading the league in:
            -rebounds
            -assists
            -steals

Well as a 50ish its harder than it should be. They need to even it out, rookes need to be better, and 96s not ridiculously good.

I agree. I don't mind the challenge of improving in MP, but with post patch, I just think that a hard challenge on SG or SF has become much harder now. I think the best positions in MP (without being ridiculously hard) are PG, PF and C.

Hopefully it will be offered if they do another patch. This is my first time on 2K so I am not sure how reliable they are on patches. But I am thinking of doing a PG vs my current SG which would at least help on the play call issue.

What setting and difficulty is the best to play on? Like, your team plays good and not ****. And the opposistion dont get every shot. Its frustrating not having sliders.

nate robinson and d.j. augustin kept whizzing passes with my player smack dab in the middle of the lane....did some double-teaming where i got the ball loose and chased after it...poked the ball away a few times during layups and my on-ball rips were working really well that game....started to worry after i got my 5th foul and had 9 steals only....record was 11...i wanted to get at least 12...

those 2 blocks i got were more than fluke if anything...the steals were just opportune moments that the cpu kept leaving themselves vulnerable to by not even being aware of my player in the lanes

im just hoping steals alone can get me the defensive player of the year(blocking is so hard to do)...been focusing on that in addition to averaging a triple double for the season(MVP should be a lock...lebron is on my team and he misses wide open shots)

Just won a triple overtime game against the Nuggets. I managed to injure Melo at the beginning of double overtime and hit the game saving shot to send it into 3OT.
