I am a bit sad this morning. I was all hype to play my normal 2 games before bed last night in 'My Player' mode. I went to load my save and received the 'file is corrupt or damaged' message. WTH?!!?

I thought it was a fluke...so I restarted the 360 and tried again. Same result. I have been reading around the web and this problem has popped up elsewhere. But, no solution has been offered...Or I haven't found it.

Does anyone have a clue whats going and how to fix? No. 7 SG for Golden State is crying out for help!

anyone noticing that there are more than 5 starters on their team?

so far in myplayer we have 6 starters or 5 starters and 1 star.

also when do they ask for ur input in trades? after my last game they traded for elton brand and never asked me. thats 4 trades since they said they wanted my input.

does ovr tie into anything in this game?

i enjoy this mode alot but am getting tired of my pg not passing the ball and taking 3pters offbalance.

i did notice that 1 time at the press conf i said that i was the guy that needs to have the ball in his hands at the end of games. my chemistry took a hit but my team passed me the ball everytime i asked for it.

what is this skill maxing people are talking about? something like taking points from 1 or 2 things and using said points to max out or try to max a skill quicker. am i getting this right?

@ coke hagan: Ronnie of 2k said that if you actually raise your chemistry, the team for some reason will call more plays for you, as well pass the ball to you more, either calling or not calling for the ball...

Also that when your chemistry is higher, you can call plays urelf...

Had a crazy game with My Player the other night.

About 40 games in my 6'6 all around 70 rated SG got traded from the Wizards back to the hometown Pistons. First two in the red white and blue dominating performances (48 and 43 points, good for 1st and 3rd top scoring games).

Third game is against the Suns. We trail by 5-10 the whole game. My Player is playing pretty well and has 34 with about 1 minute left and down 5.

First play was called for my guy to run off screens and hits an open jumper. By the way my clutch offense is only like 55. On the other end a tipped pass gets us the ball back with 30 to play. I run from the baseline back up top catch and hit a 3 to tie. On the way back down the court another tip gives us a chance to win. I run a backcut and beat my man for the layup and the lead. Suns miss a tying shot, grab the board and fouled, hit two free throws.

So recap: a little over 1 minute down 5. My Player scores 9 points in a minute to give the Pistons a 4 point win.

thanks leo, but it is kinda hard to raise chemistry if my team keeps making trades that kill what little chem i had.

what would be the best way to raise chem besides answering with the right remark during a press conf?

sorry about the amount of questions i'm asking frustration is kicking in and the manual doesn't help.

is there a more detailed manual i can get that explains everything in everymode in this game?

30 games in and i'm thinking bout going back to assco.

you're like the 5th person i know who plays for the Magic and got jamison off a trade

didnt that mess up your pick and roll with dwight howard? supposedly, it did for my friend since jamison would now be the pick rather than howard

how much point are you allowing for the other team?

it's not really much of a strategy to trade buckets when your player is the only person putting up the majority of your team's points...

work on defense and rebounding...dont let them get second chance points

Yes it does mess up the Pick and Roll which is......a three letter word

Im only allowing 86.5 PPG the team usually only score about 40 or 50 Pts without me, Vince Carter can't buy a bucket

Also I didnt ask for Jamison he just showed up one game

um the big three barely manages to average 16ppg each on our heat team

i tried to even out the distribution of their points but with 9 minute quarters i cant give the ball to each player that much...most of the time they miss shots too...

What stat do I need to bump up so that I dont stop moving when I make a pass?

So many times on a fast break I make a pass so that I can get an alley, but I end up slowing down and people catch up, pisses me off.
