for example, if your down and need to win x2

So im playing against the Jazz and Deron Williams in the first round of play-off's yet im not getting the x2 multiplier that I should be as im against a top PG in D-Will? happened to anyone else? Or is it only club rivalries that work in play-off's?

i got this too during the playoffs in season 1...

in the normal season i get the x2 multiplier against both the heat and celtics since both were rivalry and key games...but during the playoffs i only got the 2x multiplier if i had a 3-0 advantage looking to close out the series or if i was down 0-3 trying to dig out of a deficit

Thanks. Any tips on shooting in the combine games? My shots just never seem to be "Good Shots" and it's hard to take any shots unless I'm right under the net. Also defense is tough for me.

never did the combine. dont know if i skipped it of what happened.. for defense use the left trigger for 360, box out button. try improving your on ball d, speed and quickness. hopefully you picked a athletic type player, speed is not cheap..

My guys doing great in the summer circuit(1st season). In the 4 games, he averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds(he's a SF). I was sorta cheap in getting defensive rebounds though lol.

Any tips on playing good defense cause I let up way to many baskets(I'm good at making the guy not get the ball,but once he does , its like guarentee score)

Also, are there any attributes I shouldn't increase when using my skill points? My guys a SF so some of them like passing and all those mental things i dont really care about

Created a new guy 6'10 All around SF/PF drafted in the 1st round 8th pick by the clippers. I haven't started summer circuit yet.

Man i gave up on my player. I keep drafted by a team who already have decent centers. First i got drafted by the rockets playing behind yao ming i mean come on man. Then get drafted by the bucks i was like wtf they got andrew bogut. Then i freaking get drafted by the clippers i was like jesus christ man they have kaman and griffin. So i gave up man i said screw it. I was hoping to get drafted by the piston or raptors or teams that needs a big man. I keep getting drafted by team who already have a decent big man.

you do know that you can request a trade right??

Hey guys, just bought this game yesterday and immediately started up myplayer. I created a 6'1 scoring point guard. Took a day to finish up the summer circuit and I got drafted Round 1 Pick 23 by the Thunder. Current team record is 4-5, hopefully I'll get to play in the playoffs in my first year.This mode is really fun and I don't plan on starting my association mode anytime soon.

Since the most recent update it seems like plays are called at random, but almost always involve your player. Either setting you up for the score, or at least getting the ball in your hands.

I'm playing SF with the Warriors and I get 43 Swing(pick and roll with the PF on either the left or right wing) called about 8-10 times a game, on 12 minute quarters.

Just finished my first Summer circuit with my 6'3 PG [42 rtg]. During the Combine and Summer Circuit i was only able to achieve the Defensive Goal during a game twice! out of 7 or 8 games. So damn hard to force the defender to commit 2 turnovers when you get docked for making a "Bad Steal Attempt". Even one time i was trying to dribble out the clock with 20 sec left and after 10 sec i was docked for "dribbling too much" or something like that BS!

And at times when San Antonio put out 2 point guards i got confused on who to guard and my guy scored. I had a 4ppg 4ast 5reb [22% FG] averages in Summer. I ended up with a B- teammate rating and got drafted Rnd 2 pick 2 to NJ. Hopefully i'll have fun with this, but i'd still rather be playing my Association team MIN.

What difficulty are you guys playing on? I'm so F'N pissed at how stupid my teammates play on any difficulty higher than pro. WTF?

On Pro, the cpu sucks too much and I end up winning games by 20+.

I move it to All-Star, Superstar, Hall of Fame, my players miss everything, the other team shoots 75%.

I change it to Default and Sim, still the same results. Any fix to this crap?

I'm playing on pro only cause this is my first year of nba on ps3.

Though my team mates suck too in 2k11.I have a big man hovering near the 3pt line so I'm basically forced to either shoot the ball or pass it and have it count as a bad pass. It's annoying too how I have to run the play the pg wants or he doesn't give me the ball, but it drains my guys stamina(regardless how high an attribute its at) randomly running around the court trying to do a single play.

I have shot close,medium at 75+ yet I still miss these easy shots even if they're wide open. And my guy can't dunk even though he's a 6'6 SF! How high does my dunk and/or vertical rating need to be for my guy to dunk.

6'4" PG traded from Wolves (dead last) to Warriors (5th seed) after 25 games. First career triple double 4 games ago, two more since. Most recent performance: 43 pts, 11 reb, 11 ast, 2 blk, 52% FG in a heartstopping win over the Wizards. Wiz led by 1-3 pts for the first 46 minutes. couldn't keep the lid on Arenas as he exploded for 30+ points. Final Score: GSW 118 - 115 WAS.

Extras: OVR 75 -- leading league in PER at about 37 -- 31 ppg, 8 apg, 6 rpg, 1 spg, 1 bpg -- about 45 games played -- 12 min qtrs -- has won Western Conference player of the week for the past 9 weeks and player of the month for the past 2 months (Jan & Feb).
