Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I don't understand how you guys are scoring 40+ etc. and carrying your teams? Do you guys just have scorer builds for your guys or what? The best ouput I've had with my guy was 23 and that was before I realized it was on Pro. Since going to Superstar/Sim its a good game if I hit double figures.5 National Championships - '70 '71 '94 '95 '9753 All Americans4th in all time wins - 800+300+ Consecutive Home SelloutsHome of Ndamukong SuhComment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Hi guys Im new to the my player mode (Usually play association) & got a quick question.... I was drafted by the Bucks early 2nd round & have progressed to the 6th man role now (numbers arent huge but team mate grade is good). I had at look at the teams interested in trading for me & there is the 76ers & Clippers. I want to find their depth chart to see which team I will get more minutes with..... Any suggestions how to do it?Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Is there anything or any attribute I can increase to get more plays called more my player? I'm on the Bulls and a 1/3 of the plays go to Deng. He shoots every pass that's thrown to him. It pisses me off.
If my rating is higher than his, will that do it?Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
well there you have it...it's probably only PF and C position that gets all the dunk packagesComment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
in terms of attributes...there's no such category that will increase the amount of plays called for your player...
are you a SG? do you have floor general?
floor general will allow you to call plays
um only thing i know where to find the team roster is by going to nba.com from your screen and then going to league leaders and clicking player stats(i think that's right)Hi guys Im new to the my player mode (Usually play association) & got a quick question.... as for minutes and depth chart...i dont think there's a rotation menu on my player for other teams in the league
steals and fastbreak account for like 10 points alone for me...i also usually shoot at least three 3 pointers...other times i just break my man down with isomotion to pull up for a medium range jumpshot or drive the lane and eurostep to draw the foulI don't understand how you guys are scoring 40+ etc. and carrying your teams? we're not talking about lowering minutes in terms of simulated gameplay...we're talking about lowering our actual in-game playing minutes...
what i want to do is drop the 41 minutes assigned to my player and have it reach down to like 20 minutes so that i get taken out of the starting lineup and placed into the 6th man role...
that really should be an assist if it's just one step...hell you can still get an assist if you pass it to your man near the perimeter and he has a clear lane to the hoopMy team (Magic) doesn't hav that problem, the only thing is Gilbert Arenas is a BALL HOGGG!! He'll just run all over the place then pull up a shot and drain it, but when I get him a wide open look to get an assist, he moves forward 1 step then drains it so I don't get an assist.
focus on rebounding and defense(especially forcing turnovers)...if you become a multi-faceted player...your team could win with you scoring around just 20-25 points(sometimes even lower than 20)...the number in other categories might be a bit higher but the ppg wont be around 40I'm having the same problem and I play for the freaking LAKERS! Kobe consistently misses wide open mid-range jumpers. Gasol is the only guy who seems to hit wide open shots with any kind of regularity. I'm having to put this team on my back and score 40+ a game just to squeak out close wins against mediocre teams.
I wasn't really having this problem earlier in the season but lately my teammates have just been downright awful. It's getting very frustrating. I don't want to have to be a ball hog every game just to win. But with my teammates sucking so bad it's either be a ball hog and maybe pull out the W or spread the love and lose.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Man im averaging 13.3 pts a game, 3.7 assists, 1.1 rebounds on 5 min sims, on all star. that is pretty horrible huh? im ranked 2 in the rookie report but John Wall is averaging like 22. I probably wont get rookie of the year huh?Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
try extending the minutes in your quarter to at least 8 or 9(and intentionally foul to get into foul trouble once you scored enough points to simulate most of the extra minutes)
just edge out john wall in scoring and assists and you should be able to get the rookie of the year award....
medium shot, consistency, and shoot off dribble will get your scoring up in no time...once you get those attributes up, just average around 40ppg games until you make up for the points you didnt get in the previous games you've playedLast edited by -ENiGMA724-; 01-07-2011, 03:22 AM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
unfortunately, you cant revoke your request to be traded or cancel acquisitions made by your team...you just have to hope that your team doesnt find any good deals to go through with the trade
i usually make a different game save file before requesting a trade...just in case im not happy with the team i go to...Comment
