So what attributes are going to get my player better faster?

Anyone ever had to take it to the D-league?

I did get sent to the D-league after making the roster and getting some poor grades. I played about 5 games in the DLeague that were all good-great and got called back up.

The quickest way to increase your rating is to bump awareness levels up, but I would wait till much later to do that. Just keep getting your shooting/shoot off dribble/shoot in traffic skills up so you keep getting points.

Awareness seems like such a waste to me, especially when there's other more pressing stuff in need of upgrading. My steal, consistency, lay-up, shot close, standing dunk, and many other things are still well below 60. But, I think I'm going to pump all my stats into awareness with the hopes that if I'm rated really high, I'll start alongside Carmelo.

I am on the verge of getting swept. Down 3-0 to Thunder. I am average 35-15. All of the games were close(non above 8). I stopped getting called plays under 3 mins for each game. I keep Durant under or at 30. But Durant just torched me( I gave up easy shots) for 55. I am third in PPG in playoffs and First in Rebound
I am just going to play the next game and hope a team with a good playbook offer me a job.

you should start examining the playbooks from the main menu so you have a good idea of what team you actually want in the first place...narrow down your choices beforehand because once the off-season comes around...the game will narrow down your choices for you anyway

for me...im a players type of guy rather than playbook oriented...i'll sign with any team that has good players and a strong defensive front court

Is there a way to stop Heat check from coming up. It always happens in the wrong time.

I am in game 4 right now. In 2nd OT 110-110. Down 0-3. We coulda been 2-2. I had the chance to stop it from going to OT in two games, If I would have guarded Durant better and If I would have timed my shot. Im on pace for my first ever Triple double(40-8-8).

that's what i did after my first season...miami had 100% team chemistry AND their cap room was huge...i actually got the players i asked for during trade suggestions in season two...after season 2...i joined with the hawks for my current season three because they were the only team with 100% team chemistry and i liked their defensive front court.....the cap room wasnt that big though...and i havent gotten a trade i wanted so far this season

is heat check the bars on the bottom of your player's feet?

No it is a box where it tells fatigue for all players. It stops me from moving and shooting. IT is a distraction.

Just lost Game 4 and got swept in 2nd OT. We had a chance. Deron williams missed an easy shot. I missed time a rebound and it went out of bounds on me, after they missed it, we were down three. I almost had a triple double for the first time(46-10-9). Off to offseason
Was first in Points and Rebounds in the playoffs.

oh that...it only comes up if i press up on the d-pad for the ps3...

i rarely ever use the d-pad unless i want to call a quickplay...which is the right button...not the up button...

Save to a separate file before picking a team. That way you can go back if you're not feeling it.

exactly...winning your first nba championship gives you skill points..and that might be helpful this early in your career

I plan to right before offseason. Just in case another team pops up. I will check the playbook before I pick a team.

Cool. Let me know what teams you get. I think I got the Bulls, Heat, Magic, Thunder, Jazz, and my squad (Nets) the few times I tried.
