In my last game, I got called a play or touched the ball almost the entire time I was on the court. They ran only 5 plays. Some games they call post and sometimes they dont. I will max post which is 85 for All around SF.
My favorite two plays they call for me is 13 over and 53 roll.
13 over is a play where I start at the low post, then run straight up and get a screen, then run across the Free throw line getting a another screen into a open 8-15 shot every time.
53 roll I get the ball at the top of the key. The center sets up a screen at the foul line. I move towards the right and I get doubled up and the center runs to the basket open. It is a automatic assist for me 8/10 times.

Hey guys, I recently started a new myplayer (a SF), I haven't played in forever though, so I had a question.

Is the thing where the team trades you wherever they want when you request a trade still happening?

supposedly the second patch made the trade transactions a bit more favorable to your request...but you should make a back up game save just in case you dont land on your desired team

Ah alright, that's good to hear, thanks.

I got drafted 16th by the Wolves, who have Beasley AND Johnson at the SF spot, so I'm pretty sure I'll need a trade :P

Agreed
Once you request a trade it is out of your hands. Whoever is first on your interest level after you requested a trade, will get you.
At first, I did not have the Pistons nowhere in thought. I made a back up save but saved over it after I requested. I kept getting traded to them. At first I did not want to go to Detriot because they run 3 guards and 2 bigs 40% and I was not a post up player or defender. But I like their roster, playbook, and I am the leader.

7-2 in my 2nd season playing for Pistons(1st season with them). I average 27 and 13 rbs. I have been getting triple dubs the last two games.
My Starting line up is.
PG-Stuckey
SG- Garnett(3rd ovr pick in draft)
SF-West(Me)
PF-K.Perkins(traded to Pistons last season)
C-Maxiell
I have Shoot low post at 72, I plan to max it. Since I am doubled a lot, i have to boost Pass up. I plan to boost Shot Close and 3 pt. I soon have to boost dunk, I stopped boosting it after equipping 10+ dunk. I am about 10-25 games from getting the Signature shoes. After I do those and work on Ball Secruity and Hands, I will work on defense.
I desperately need to improve speed. Even with maxed Ball Handle and Off Hand Dribble, I cant get past people. It will probably last thing I will improve because it is too expensive and so I can work on it alone. Or wait until I get my overall game to where I like it and use Key games to improve speed.

it's real easy to improve speed when you have a bunch of drills available to you...that's why doing it in the combine, summer circuit and beginning of season one was so crucial...they give you like 22 drills(dont remember...6,6,10?) total

i dont remember if the beginning of every season gives you drills or not...i think it does...

it takes forever for me to get an increase in speed for the dribble course...
i maxed out ball handle, off hand dribbling, and ball security and its still giving me those attributes lol

i went through the same thing during season two when speed was the only attribute i had left...

i eventually got enough skill points from games to increase from 90-99...that's the moment i stopped doing drills...i have like 20+ drills piled up now with no use for them anymore

that sucks man...i completely gave up on trusting my game disc as well as my ps3 because i recently fixed it from a YLOD...so i pretty much save it after every game and back up the file

Does anyone know the progression of the Jordan endorsement deal after you get your own shoe? Do you eventually get a second shoe, or anything else? It's been more than a season since I've gotten anything. I've had the billboard, magazine cover, etc.

Both of my players (athletic SG and all-around PF) got the +8 Medium Range shoes. Not all that useful when you already have a 95 or 90 in medium range. Is that the only pair?

With 2 maxed-out players, I was thinking my next would be a really short, pass-first PG. That stat cap chart pretty much boils it down: playing anything other than an "all-around" is rather pointless. Sigh, 2K.

there's a second billboard and after that i dont think the game has anymore endorsements...i got it during my first season...havent seen anything since(wrapping up my third season)
