Once I improve my shooting I am definitely demanding a trade. We are 1-6. Unlike when I was a SF on Thunder we was 9-2. What hurts our team the most is that I dont shoot/score alot when Chris Paul is off. We have been getting blowed out 20+ the last 3 games.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
having a midrange game is vital to an offense in this mode...
PG's dont necessarily need to have a strong inside game if they know how to do kick out passesComment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
The thing I hate about my My Player is OJ Mayo. I'll elaborate below.
I have a 6'8 240 PF, who got drafted by the Grizz. I average a double-double off the bench, and am doing good.
On every play, OJ Mayo chucks a shot thats horrible and somehow goes in. And most of the plays are directed to me.Comment

yeah but even you stressed the fact that you're shooting horribly at the moment and it's not helping your team win

do it since you know the dribble course trick because those 3 pointers cost a lot of skill pointsComment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I am mad because I wanted to achieve my milestones on Key games and I havent gotten one yet out of 10 games. I faced 4 divison oppenents so far and I faced the team division openent twice in a row. I am trying to hold off until key games.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
exactly. Once I get my speed to 99. Then I will just keep on subtracting it. Dribble course is easy once you know how to do the iso's. I have 94 speed(3+ shoes). Once I get to 99 then I will drop it to 96 since I have the 3+ shoI maxed Ball handle. Now I will boost layup to 90. Max Out On Ball defense since it is cheap(and worth it). Then I will focus on my shooting attributes.

it's completely ridiculous how much skill points you get for these later milestones like 1000 steals, 1000 3 pointers, 5000 pts and etc during key games....
i got like 32,000(?) skill points or something after getting the 1000 steals milestone...the unfortunate thing was that all my attributes have been maxed out since the middle of season 2Last edited by -ENiGMA724-; 02-14-2011, 12:46 AM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
you should just get your speed up to 96 without the shoes....wear shoes for something else like the +4 in 3pt shooting....

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Just got my first double-double and 10 rebound game. I was a point short for 100 points in a career. I had 14 points and 10 rebounds and I won Player of Game. But we just lost Okafur for 4-6 weeks.
I got Layup at 90. Now I can focus on Quickness, Shooting, ON Ball Defense.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I also don't like the idea of asking for a trade, but when you're displacing a star from the starting lineup, that can kill the fun too. The CPU is smart enough to start someone at their alternate position usually, but other players (I've seen it with KG and Amar'e, so it might be a PF/C thing) will get pushed to the bench. There's no reason a 73 rated J. O'Neal should start at center over an 81 Garnett, even when O'Neal is assigned only 6 minutes per game. KG wasn't getting to start so his morale plummeted, and O'Neal was miserable because of his minutes, so the 3-man rotation of bigs was 66% sad.
The game will never start you at a position that isn't your primary, either.
Mayo is the starting SG on my Celtic team with Allen coming off the bench. I was hyped when I saw that he signed, but the dude never takes an open jumper... He drives 75% of the time when he gets the ball and ends up with 5+ turnovers per game. Oddly, I also play PF, and he breaks plays designed for me in order to take those drives.
Wish management would ask you who you want traded away.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
i want to know also...
i've been switching between so many different layup packages
so far i've used:
-all-star guard
-steve nash
-dwayne wade
-manu ginobili(current)
-kobe bryant
-jamal crawford
im too lazy to check out what 2k assigned to tyreke evans but maybe i'll use the same layup as him....he makes so much contact layups as a teammateComment
