i noticed you guys are increasing your offense and defense awareness, does it change the gameplay? i was leaving those alone b/c i control the player so i figure i didnt need to upgrade those..

My real personal weakness is the fact that I can't get bronze on the dribble course, so i basically need to have a 10 game stretch of amazing games to get enuff points to up my speed/agility/stamina just a little bit.

It's tough, I just dont kno wut to up first because once I up one thing, 2 games go by and I realize how deficient I am somewhere else. The way I play, I try to take a lot of mid range jumpers but I also cut to the hoop alot and box out a lot, so I get a fair share of chances under the rim but I can't finish. Meanwhile bums like Ben Wallace are better than me around the rim? come on.....i'm "athletic", I shud be able to dunk on a fastbreak, instead i'm getting blocked by the likes of Mo Williams....smh....I need to get the dribble course down so i can get faster....are there any shoes that raise the mid-range jumper?

And I play for the Bucks, Corey Maggette is a freaking black hole if there ever was one. Gets the ball and just goes ISO dribble, spin, crossover, contested fadeaway CLANK
yeah there's a +5 and a +3 for mid-range shot...once you unlock the signature shoes it's a +7....i used to have the +5 equipped during my rookie season

glad the camera angle thing worked out...still not sure why people have this problem though...my autosave has been off since i got the game and my camera angle has never messed up

Just won my first game against the Thunder, Since being traded back to the Magic we have won 1 game coming close to winning only agaisnt the best teams, Its on Superstar difficulty but I see my teamates making shots more frequently and I finally go the hang of actually running the point instead of playing like a Midget Kobe, I've had 20+ Pts and 9+ Assts (excluding the Rookie Sophmore game) in my last, We Blew Boston out 84 to 55, Lost due to Vince Carter jacking up the stupidest shot I've seen in my life as soon as he got the ball right after I drilled a CLUTCH 3 in Will Bynums face to keep us in the game 102 - 104 against the Lakers, Then we beat the Thunder as I held Russel Westbrook to 8 Points and 6 Assists, Kevin Durant was thier only double digit scorer.

My Season Highs have been amazing for a rookie

          Points is 59
          Assists is 22
          Made FG's is 21
Blocks is 3 (mind you im a 6'0 Point)
I have yet to hit 50+ points. How are yall doing that? Unless you are speeding up and down the court and nailing shots with sky high FG%. And I use 12 min quarters. I hit 44 points (highest) 2x. Though I rarely took 3pt shots since I never raised that attribute till my second season now.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

So after I won the NBA Championship with my 6'6 Athletic SG with the Bulls, I decided to create a new My Player with certain rules.

My new 6'5 Scoring Shooting Guard is one pompous and obnoxious player. Everytime reports asks him questions, you can bet he won't hesitate to answer with an arrogant response. He doesn't care what his teammates or his fans think of him. He will always answer with "B" and have no second thoughts about it.

Makes the game more fun for me. It's also funny hearing the things he says.

Also, as a challenge. I only use my skill points after I've completed 5 games. I also only use those skill points on a certain aspect of the game.

First 5 games used it on Offense
Next 5 games used it on Defense
Next 5 games, I'll use it on fundementals (stamina, etc)

I actually responded to one question professionally and got all negative results. I didn't think that would happen. I can't remember the question, but something my player answered where he said if we had a special teams, they would have struggled stopping the opponent, if there was such a thing for basketball.

When I play later, i will switch my Free Throw from AI to Quick. My next 2 games are important. Have to get 2 consecutive Triple Doubles to get 3 milestones, 10 career Triple-double 250 assists and 25 double-doubles. I had a triple-double every game so far since being traded to the Nets. The hardest part is assists. Rebounds arent hard to get. I had 23 assists the last game I played. B. Lopez, D. Favors, Gooden(traded) are great assist magnets.

Man the grizzilies are getting good we ve played 12 games and were second in conference on 9-3,rudy gays been injured for past 7 and weve only lost 1 since so thats a big factor and the rest of the guys are playing well

During the start of the season ive maxed out mid range jumper as i was fed up of not being reliable from outside, ive also added it to rebounding and layup. Ive put the team on my back and have had some really intresting performances including

39 v Kings ( 20 in second quarter alone and 30 at half, didnt play at all in 4th so missed out on 40 point milestone)
35 v Mavs (went from 10 down to win by 16)
32points,10assists,8blocks v celtics ( they had nate at sg and i rejected him 6 times in 8 mins in 1st quarter as is release was slow and my height played a major factor) *im a 6'5 pg by the way
                  31points,9rebounds,9assists v magic ( narrowly missed out on trip-dub)

Im currently top ranked rookie averaging 23 points 6.3 assists and 4 rebounds and have already gained my billboard and magazine cover, the futures looking bright we even beat the magic who were 9-1 in r last game so at this rate the playoffs look a certainty

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

So my 10th season in my career and 7th year with the Heat ended on a somewhat dissapointing note. Finished the season 70-12, best record in the NBA, and got home court advantage through the playoffs, as usual. Beat the 76ers in a classic seven game series, in the first round. Handled the cavs pretty well, 4-1, and advanced to the conference finals, against the magic. Took game one, lost game 2 at home. The magic won the next two games on their home court to take a 3-1 lead in the series. We took game 5 on our court, but couldn't win game 6 and lost the series 4-2. So this is the first time in eight seasons where we haven't advanced to the finals. The Magic went on to lose to the nuggets 4-2 in the finals. The year wasn't a total failure though. I won my 2nd MVP and got my first Defensive Player of the year award. But my streak of championships ends at 6, and lebron, chris, and d-wade, are going into their 17th season. It might be there last, so I'll try to make the most out of next season.

Ok, So Im Starting A New My Player And I Need Some Help. So Im Deciding On Wether To Pick PG SF Or PF. I Was Going To Take A PG Cause Thas What I Play In Real Life But Then I Thought O But It Would Be Fun To Do A SF That Just Can Dunk All Over The Place But Then I Thought Or I Could Do A PF And Be Like Blake Griffin Or Amar'e Stoudimire, So I Need Some Help Please Reply Fast Cause I Want To Get To The NBA Season By Tomorrow Night.

i'd pick PG b/c i like being the floor general and calling the plays. running the pick and roll or iso play are easier when you get to control everyone else

i'm a 6'5 pg w/ 60 dunk and maxed 95 vert and i dunk all over the place. cant wait til i up the dunk rating and start unlocking better dunk packages.

I'm rolling with an Amar'e-style PF and playing for OKC. It's alright, but if I was you I'd probably roll with a PG just cause the game is in your hands that way. With the AI of the game Russell Westbrook is a major chunker and it gets kinda frustrating not getting good looks on offense.

thats the whole reason i wanted pg. i hate it when i get bumped to sg and then put nash as the starting pg. i get terrible looks and our offense flounders pretty badly

i did. my pg has handles and can drive. i have no midrange game but for my drills i do the shooting drill and just get the +1/+2 for 3 pt shooting. most of my game consists of driving and taking it or kicking it out. then when nash is the pg, i run alot of picks for him and just roll to the 3pt line and he'll hit me for an open 3
