Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
[QUOTE=blarg.;2042380530]I have had great success with the magic in my first year. Started out with 37 overall now at 96 overall and still rising we finished 81-1. I won MVP roty and d Howard won defensive player of the year. Both of us are all NBA first team. My regular season stats were 70.7 ppg 3.1 rpg 10.3 apg 1.8 spg 0.7 bpg and 1.7 topg. My post season stats so far are 82.3 ppg 2.7 rpg 20.8 apg 4.3 spg 1.7 bpg 1 topg. We are in te second round against the bulls we lead 2-0. I'm a 6'3 pg 220 lbs playing on all-star difficulty.
/quote]
not bad at all
Im gonna bump the difficulty up to hof for the conference finals and the finals
to each his own but if your going 81-1 and your avg 80 ppg and your blowing them out then I would probably step it up and add a little more difficulty to the game. of course unless you like doing what your doing, then keep having fun!
sometimes i feel like i need to score 80 ppg in mymyplayer b/c my team wont help. i'm trying to find that sweet spot b/w getting my own numbers and keeping my teammates around their season avg. 12 min sim HoF isnt quite there. still testing more games with that setting to see if its what i'm looking forComment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
dwade returned for my team in our first game of the second round, but he played horribly. I didn't help with 11 turnovers (d'oh). But I managed a game winning shot after trailing the entire game against the Bucks.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Finished off the NBA playoffs
Thunder beat the heat 4-1
<object height="295" width="425"><embed src="http://media.xfire.com/swf/embedplayer.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" flashvars="videoid=4627a1" height="295" width="425"></object>
i simmed most of the playoffs and just played the final game
my final line: 45 pts, 16 rbs, 30 blks
good to know 30 blocks is possible.
now i just gotta put together my 30-30-30 game
Big Daddy kickin it with Obama

Now the big question, where to play next? my choices are
1. stay with the thunder
2. move to the heat
3. move to the bulls
4. move to the jazz
i'm torn between the heat and bulls. both need a legit big man but i'm worried if i go to the heat, i'm never gonna get the ball as a C.
I need your guys input on where I should go next??Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I knocked off the Celtics 4-2 to advance against the Heat in the second round. Oh boy this is tough. Lost the first game. I'm averaging over 80ppg from 1st round. I don't know but I feel I need to keep putting up insane amount of points to have a chance against Heat. I'll try to get Game 2 later.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
when the game starts you just quit the game and it offers you 3 options, save for later, quit and sim to the end of the game. when you sim you dont get any points or accumulate any of your #s during the game toward your career totals.
i sim'd the playoffs b/c i noticed your #s dont count toward your career #s. i just kept saving after the wins and made sure i didnt get eliminated. if i did, i'd just go back and reload it til i won. then i played the final elim game of the finals and got the trophymyplayer:
