after going thru the combine, getting drafted in the 2nd round with a 40 overall LMFAO....spent the summer league improving my guy, im still only at like 45 overall. what is the best way to gain SP and attribute increase bonuses? i find the shooting drill to be the easiest to beat. but im still feel like its gonna take FOREVER to get my guy to even a 60 rating, let alone be starter material. so what gives?

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
After the first two games of the season, I'm averaging 12 PPG and 4 APG. Playing with the T-Wolves really sucks. I get stuck at SG, which I suck at, because of Flynn and Ridnour being ahead of me at PG. When I do get in at PG, I run a play which gets ruined because Love is an idiot or Wesley Johnson just likes to jack up shots.
Overall tho, I'm having fun with Myplayer. Lost both of our games so far and I'm only getting around 16 MPG but my guy has a ton of potential and so does my team, so I'm gonna keep playing it.Comment

What position are you?
Fastest way to get SP is work your way to A+ then score as much as you can. IIRC, points and boards are worth the most SP. On default quarter length with my 1st year PG I get 2k pts a game routinely.
If you are close to a milestone and can put it off, wait for a key game because you get double SP for the milestone.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Overall rating isn't so important, unless it's for your satisfaction. my dude was just as effective at 65 as at 75, because I increased fundamental skills before the overall multipliers (O+D awareness). O and D awareness increase overall pretty quickly.

Set screens, good defense, dont necessarily need to score. Assist. Mainly good defense IMO.Comment

I'm with the Cavs, just beat the Hawks 105-69 lol. I held Joe Johnson to 8 points with 2-22 from the field! I was on him all game. finished the game with 34 pts, 14 ast and 5 boards.
I'm tearing it upComment

7'2" Rebounding Center drafted 13th overall by the Toronto Raptors
Through 12 games I'm averaging 11.5 points, 12.8 rebounds, 55% FG, 1.6 blocks, currently 10th in the east with a 5-7 record
Fitting in pretty nicely, right now I'm the sixth man with Bargnani starting, but he's a totally different type of big man than me, so when coach needs rebounds and defense I get the nod
Just got my first POTG with a 15 points, 15 rebounds, 6 block performance. I absolutely love the POTG highlights.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Made a 6'8" SF and struggled getting used to the game and my player but lucked out and got drafted in the 2nd round by the Heat. Playing 12 minute quarters with LeBron, Wade, and Bosh has helped boost my myplayers' rating. Although, I will probably have to switch teams after this season (season 2) as I'm an 85 and still the 6th man.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Just started probably my last My Player... I wanted to be short so i could get more points, So I am an 6'3 Athletic SF... Drafted 2nd rd 5th pick... TO THE WIZARDS
I am pretty happy, Wizards are my fav/hometown team and Josh Howard only thing in my way... The mismatches aren't really that bad anymore after leveling up, and only when I get put at PF do I really get frustrated (But it is also a mismatch for me on the offensive side)
My Med range is at 80 but I still cannot make my shots, So I figured since I'm shorter maybe I need a higher shoot in traffic or something, I have been averaging 16 pts off bench 2 rebs and assts a game. I didn't have a TO in my first 3 games, and when I noticed it and tried not to get any TO, I got my first one in my 4th game :-P ...
I have answered arrogant in every answer except one about me being the star, I knew where that was going... Just got my First Jordan letter 7 games in, Bout to continuePSN = Leo202ndcComment
