Okay, I've been out of this thread because I haven't played in a long time (been playing SD vs. Raw). I'm back now, and I got the tiny patch, and the newest roster.
I'm loading up my old My Player files (3 of them), to see which one is furthest along in the season, and every time I exit out to go to the main menu, the game freezes! This has never been a problem in the past. Did this happen to anyone else, or can anyone give me any tips??Comment

I think it might be the end of the line for me in My Player... It's not fun when your tall, but when your short, people who are stars (LeBron, KD, even high-med rating people... Gay, Luol Deng), score on you practically at will...
It's not even that I care they are scoring on me, It's just if I don't cherry pick and get alot of points off fast break+shot selection+dunk, Opponents scoring on me, or even getting the ball in the paint takes away big bars of SP... I'll box out, and being 6'3 somebody will jump over me and get an offensive rebound, and the points are practically twice as bad as what I just got...
And when the opposite team is running fast breaks, figuring out who to check is infuriating. I'll run as fast as I can, my teammate will be all in the scorer's face.. But still the game decides I should have magically been in on the play for some reason...
And then your match up thing is kinda dumb too... Your supposed to hold your match up to certain stats, but the CPU switches all the freaking time. I'll be there and the CPU still will want to check my man, So either their guy scores and it counts against me, or most likely its a mis match now, and if my match up does anything good, it takes away from me getting my checklist done...
Just a little rant, At least Black Ops about to come out, I should be OK ... Hopefully the next few days will not hurt my liking of the game any more, or it might just become a dust collector unless playing a friendPSN = Leo202ndcComment

Been playing a lot recently. Got my magazine cover. Got NBA Player of the month. Finally got some speed and am having too much fun!
Just came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Rockets in the 1st Round of the playoffs!

Up until today I was playing well, but today I've been horrible, my scoring is around 15 ppg atm but my assists have gone down as my team cant make any shots at all :/My player: 6'2 scoring PG / Indiana Pacers (Season 1) / Overall 62Comment

After losing to the Jazz, the Pacers are 9-7. They head into Phoenix to face the Suns.
At the start of the 4th quarter, the Pacers are down by 9. I (a 6'6 SG) was moved to point guard, and we made a run. With 24 seconds left in the game, the Pacers and Suns are tied at 100 thanks to a 3 by Granger.
I get the ball, cross Jason Richardson up and go up for the jam! But I miss!!
The game goes into overtime.. but in overtime, the Pacers took complete control.
I was Player of the Game, and I was an absolute monster this game..
24 points, 18 rebounds, 17 assists, 1 steal, 1 block.Comment

I've got a athletic 6'7 small forward, and landed on the Pacers. damn. i didn't request a trade though, and played through about 10 games. I tried to make him more of an all around player, so he's averaging about 12 pts 8 boards and 9 assists. just from the games i've played, i've observed some things:
tj ford is just the worst. everytime he has the ball, he drives, and jacks up some ridiculous shot. it's gotten to the point where when i inbound it to the sg because he spreads the ball better. Also, the pacers are fun besides ford! I love playing w/ collison, he always seems to take good shots, and has been averaging 8 assists for the first 10 games or something. I hope that if i ever take grangers job, he'll change positions, not go straight to the bench, like i've been hearing is happening.Comment
