Becasue Amare is rated higher in key areas for PF, where Dirk would prob be a high 90's SF

Eric Gordon is better than a 74. Did you not see what he just did for USA? He's an 80 minimum. And Dirk is better than 83! David Lee is an 83. Bosh is an 87. How many 1st-team NBA's has Dirk got and how many have these others got?

Stop comparing the FIBA with the NBA. The title is NBA 2K11. Not FIBA 2K11.

The only ratings that sort of surprises me. Is the John Wall rating... I can think because he such an athlete like Westbrook and Rose. He could only get a rating like them to match it. Because right now between them all...they all are not consistent jump shooters.
I agree. However, its probably some NBA mandate that their "ROY" marketing tool has to be rated pretty high, initially.

2k has done it again.... Great job on the ratings
Every nba player deserve the rating that they got...... especially Dirk Nowitzki..... He is a great offensive player.... NO DOUBT.. BUT HE SUCK ON DEFENSE... PERIOD.....

How can a 7'0 foot player like Dirk only average 7.7 rpg and 0.98 in blocks?? Because he is soft, PEOPLE.....

And just because he is rated 83 doesnt mean he is going to suck... So....Calm down....

Only the Elite players like Kobe, Lebron, Paul, Williams, Wade, and Anthony should be rated in the 90's...

That is what i love about 2k and 82games.com working together... They will get it right everytime....

One More Thing, I am happy that Brandon Jennings got a 75... That is what you get for making a video of yourself dancing to Lady Gaga.......

                      Yes, this.

Anyone else notice in 2k10, when one changes a players position, the overall rating goes down respectively. Thus being why Dirk is not rated as high as his actual game in real life.

                      Individual Ratings people!

60-64: End of Bench (11th-15th men and most D-League callups)
55-59: Should not be in NBA (i.e. training camp invites w/ non-guaranteed deals)
50-54: Hopefully earned their college degree.

That's fine. Kleiza's last NBA season, he had a PER of 13.2 and averaged 10/4/1 in 22 minutes a game shooting 45% and 32.5%. Pretty crappy, but definitely not a '55' caliber player. It's fine though, I can see his rating being bumped up to a low 60 (where it probably should be) fairly quickly.

Since when was 75 - 79 classed as average? I'd say people with that rating should be great players.

                                I'd say 65 - 70 is "average".
