Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
dude, why would they take away some great features like that? i don't have to have played the game to answer that --> yes.Comment

drss, I think what he meant was that you would would have been better served with the McD analogy rather than the slavery analogy.
I get what you mean, but if you give me a choice between getting the same game on both consoles or being handled at a fast food like you explained, I might say I don't care about the fast food but want the better game. If you offer me to either have the same game on the two consoles or not being a slave, I know which one I choose and screw the PS3! :-DComment

It is simpler than that.
It is a product with 2 customer bases; 1 with a regular version and the other a gimped. Both are charged the same.
You go to McD's and they guy in front of you gets the same order as you, yet your's is noticably less appealing. perhaps your bread is stale, perhaps you have noticably less fries. Perhaps you have more ice in your drink. Who knows. And the guy who served you was rude to you, but friendlier to the other guy. Why should this be ok?
Why should it matter if it is a video game, or a cheap fastfood meal? Or something else?
We're talking paying the same $ for an inferior product. Where the product does NOT HAVE TO BE inferior. Its being inferior is a direct result from the company's decision; it isn't a law of nature, nor a fact of life. Decisions were made to allow the gimped version.
I am not loling. I wish I can lol back at your ignorance, but I can't. Because that sort of behavior really saddens me and disappoint me. This is the sort of people who are in America now? "its a video game..."? "lol"?
I suppose downplaying, loling, and keeping a blind eye on unfairness that you can't change, is the best way of handling it. Like I said, I evny this. Ignorance is bliss."Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes."Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
Well most people is treating the ps3 jaggies like the lebron headband issue or any accessory issue which is unfair to us ps3 users since its not like that at all. If the 360 has the same jaggies then I can guarantee you that the game will have a lower score in most review sites and most people will complain about it too.Comment

These games have to go out with the same price point for these minor issues that occur across platforms. How upset would you be if I paid $10 less because my game has some occasional jagged edges a slight delay that only happens once in a while. You'd be screaming for a few jaggies and a rebate.
Xbox players would have a whole field of baby cows. I know I would.
I mean seriously, I cant pay $10 more for better floor lighting and a few better textures. I got mouths to feed lol.
Also, there I am sure is a back end cost to fixing up the game. I dont know what's involved but I have a feeling it is more than game developers just being lazy. Its all about dollars and cents and if they fix my game as a PS3 owner , chances are that cost is getting spread to EVERYBODY.Comment

Some of you act like this kind of thing doesnt go on all the time. There is no comparing the two platforms in the game of baseball. If you bought 2k10 on release day, you paid 60 for a far inferior product (and we arent just talking a few jagged edges there). I mean I have wondered aloud for years how whomever makes price point decisons at 2k can allow the baseball product to go out for $60, but it happens and people buy it (or it happens because people buy it, whatever).

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
Can't we talk about what's actually in the game and not what it looks like?
If you want to know about graphics, read the reviews for the PS3 version and see what they say about graphics. I want to know more about the game itself! What we know so far about NBA 2K14 - FAQ/QA:

My thoughts on how replays should be handled:

The casual gamers arent going to notice or care and the hardcore guys know the issues and can make their purchase choices accordingly. If you are a PS3 owner, by all means, let yourself be heard on this issue but the fact is that the group of PS3 issues who 1) notice and 2) care enough to let it affect their buying decison is, and always will be minute. Maybe that is the point that is being made, that more people should care but it wont happen unless and until the gameplay or the game features are radically different in the two games.
There is no way that I personally am going to allow a few smoother textures on a game system that I dont even own keep me from getting one of the best if not the best sports game of the year.
I am not calling anyone out, I am using the word "you" in the general sense. To each his ownComment

Of course, differences b/w 2 versions of a product are not equal to slavery. But that much is obvious. That was not a comparison. That was an analogy. It was to illustrate that "i'm ok with that" does not cancel out the situation. Things are not also so literal; some obvious were capable of getting the analogy and its inherent meaning, and some couldn't. I apologize for not being able to cater to everyone's comprehension; nothing much I can do about that.Comment
