I don't mean to diss people with a 360, i'm just making a point about what someone said about ps3 owners should be upset abot some punk *** jaggies. the demo looked great 2 me. if you wanna complain, complain about the shortcomings on your system, not just a game. 2k is 2k. -

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
Originally posted by drssPeople saying "they don't care about" PS3's graphics being inferior, I envy you. But it's BS.
Sure, you may not have a 360 to compare things to, so "its ok". But that'd be like saying, you're happy working in a 3rd world sweat shop underpaid because you have never seen America and probably never will go there.
The fact to the matter is, there ARE 2 versions. PS3, and 360. Both from the same company. 1 customer base gets a superior product, the other a gimped port.
We are charged the same amount for the game.
That makes PS3's customer base 2nd class citizens. I'm sure the black slaves who "knew their place" and accepted their fates felt more at peace than those who attempt to fight for their own rights, but it doesn't mean the situation is right.
Your so called NOT CARING, is basically a submissive reaction to "the way things are". You know this is how it is, this is how it has been, and that it isn't likely to change in the future. Crossplatform games will always favor 360, it had been so and it will BE so. And there's nothing we can do about it to force companies to make things right. So we either accept it, or we miss out on a good game.
An inferior version of a good game (that costs us the same $)... but a good game nonetheless.
So what can we do but accept our fates as 2nd class citizens?
Those who so naturally and easily "i dont care", again, I evny you. I want to be at peace too. I just can't.
PS3 has technically higher specs than 360. It means the PS3 version CAN be just as good as 360's, if the developers are willing to spend the effort.
They weren't willing to spend the extra effort to make the versions equal.
And still they charge the same for both.
Well played, 2K.
By the way, if I go to Mickie D's (I'd never eat there, but for the sake of the analogy), and I was treated poorly and served bad food, I'd take my business elsewhere. Now, THAT's a good analogy. The thing is, people here complaining will still buy the game on day one, bitch and moan on a message board (taking threads off-topic) and think that they are "doing something about it", when in reality, they are doing nothing but eating their stale burger and complaining about the food. Next time you're hungry though, you'll go back to McDonald's and they'll continue to serve you bad food.
On Topic: Can someone tell me what the top 5-10 rated rookies are in the draft and their positions (Association)? Last year, there were like 5 "John Walls" every year, and I'm wondering if they fixed it? I don't import classes (though maybe I should), so am interested in this.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
The sad part is people here are also downplaying the jaggies and difference in responsiveness to a mere calf sleeve/headband issue. Some are even arguing that this is a TV issue but the fact that the 360 does have an excellent raw video output regardless of the TV makes this argument invalid.
If people will look at it this way then I guess we will not see a very polished 2k game for the ps3 in this current generation. What really pissed me off a little bit is that they had more time to add some PS Move features and they had no time to fix a very important detail in today's video game generation.Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
@anyone who has the game: Is there custom soundtracks? Meaning can I use songs from my harddrive to replace the default soundtrack so that every time I come into the game, it will load my soundtrack and not the default 2K11 soundtrack which will play the songs in the menus?Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
my question is a little tricky in terms of probably paying attention to but here it goes n e way
1.is it possible to still call a timeout when the ball is tied up b/w 2 players and bail out from not getting a jump ball called?
2.have they fixed the backcourt called i.e if the defender touches the ball but the ball handler/his team gets the ball back the shot clock is at 16 seconds or less and still in the backcourt in nba 2k10 no violation is called.(it seemed that the timer resets even though there was no change of possesion only contact with the ball)Humans fear what they dont understand, hate what they cant concur i guess its just the theory of manComment

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
Update Fellas - I messaged 2K dev Beluba about the PS3 issue, and about ability to edit classic teams/generic players, this was his response -
Beluba -
I don't think I ever stated that the generic players were editable... but the teams were. So to correct the benches, the user needs to create the missing players and then assign them to the classic teams.
I did see the reports on the PS3 issues. Our engineers are investigating.
So it seems the devs are already working on the PS3 issue, and as long as I can add/subtract whoever I want from the classic teams, im fine and happy with that, I would just remove the generic player and create the correct one.

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
As long as the retail looks as good as the demo then I will be happy. I messed around with my tv settings and I got a picture that I like with the ps3 demo.
I have read alot on here, but I just want to make sure that it looks the same (or better) then the demo.

hey baseballguy can you please check what happens to play calling when a player is traded to your team. Like if i trade tony parker for chauncey billups, will billups playcalling from denver come to san antonio or would they still use the set plays from parker.Comment
