Absolutely. Defensive rotations are light years ahead of 2K10.

That was because it was probably an NBA Today game and the season hasn't started yet, thus 0-0. When you play in Association Mode you will get to see the real standings.

I'd like to know if NBA Today translates seamlessly from real life to association mode.

Hey baseballguy. Only question I want to ask is if the generated players in association come from create a player or they are premades from 2k like 2k9. Also are the generated potraits like the ones of my player? And last, in the intro of a match (where it shows the player faces and and starting 5) does it show created players also?

Yeah I think it tracks career stats. Didn't they have that last year?

There are 4 game styles: default,simulation,casual and custom.

in the 2k11 demo, kobe and kg would make everything, so hopefully this sim mode will turn things down a notch and make it a bit more realistic

Definitely not on Sim. I can promise you that. I've seen teams shoot only as high as 47% and as low as 36% in 6 games or so.

does sim mode also affect rebounding and such?
because if you're going to play as dwight howard, if they're going to cut your FG% in half, do they give you an advantage on the boards so that you can still average a double double?

Can you play unranked games against friends ONLINE using Classic teams? Like Michael's Bulls against Ewing's Knicks?

I just read 53 pages of this thread and have learned more about what stupid shoes are in the game than the association. The most I have learned from this 53 pages is that PS3 users are having some sort of buyers remorse, the game is awesome, they have shoes, the classic teams are the same as already known but nothing new as far as association.

Can someone please tell me about the simulated stats and progression of generated rookies.

I need to know this in order to go back to being a effective employee, father and husband.

This game is not even close to being a letdown. Despite some of the visual disadvantages that the PS3 version seems to have, the game is spectacular. The new touches to presentation give the game a real broadcast feel. Just played an associated game last night where there was a promo between quarters for a game on Halloween. It was literally like the game went to commercial.

In a nutshell, the game looks and plays like real basketball should. One of, if not, the best representation to date. It's almost like 2K took all of the strengths of Live 10 and polished them into an even better experience in 2K11.

You'll all see what I'm talking about when you get your copies soon. Play a game on default then switch to Sim. It's an amazing experience.

This is crazy cant wait till 8th - release in Ireland

is the ps3 version graphic really off compare to the xbox version????
