Can the classic generic players be edited?...i.e: shoes, ratings, shorts, numbers, names

Hey man, I do not have the game but I have heard on a number of occasions from guys with the game that the generic players themselves are not editable in name or appearance. However, it is possible to create players (say, the real players missing from the classic teams) then trade them to the classic team of choice in place of the generic guy.

Long story short, you can fill out the rest of the classic rosters with the correct players (albeit created versions).

I might have missed your answer but does jared dudley have a new jumpshot(not the textbook one)?

jared dudley still has "textbook" but the whole textbook jumpshot animation has been redone, i've used the hornets which had marcus thornton and marco belinelli both sporting the textbook jumpshot last year... same thing with them, still "textbook" new animation...

I'm aware we can take classic teams into the association and that they need to replace a current team. But, can we shuffle the divisions as we see fit?

Hey, How Does The #1 Overall Pick John Wall Look (Not Physically, I mean his game/speed/jumper/layups)? Have you played with him or against him? There were two gameplay videos of wizard vs warriors and wizards vs 76ers but by the time I got to them 2k removed them. Just wanted to know if you had any insight on this subject.

I watched John Wall play a ton in college and I think 2K did a pretty good job with him. You'll be pleased. Honestly, I don't see why anyone wouldn't be pleased with this game in general. It's the MLB The Show of basketball.

baseballguy, I've seen it asked a few times but haven't seen a reply yet....Is there any way for you to tell whether you can use the classic teams in unranked online mode?

Haven't been able get an online game started so I haven't tried

Absolutely! Can't wait to download some of the rosters that people create. Was a little disappointed to only have Perkins, Kemp, Schrempf, Hawkins, and Payton as the only real Sonics on the 95-96 squad.

I've heard a lot of the Bulls teams have between 8 and 10 guys. Do most of the opposing classic teams only go 5 or 6 deep?

I don't think that was the case even last year, at least not on 360. The rosters were usually the most up to date for whenever you started your myplayer.

I went in and checked last night and I found something weird. I started a new My Player with Rashid's latest rosters. With the rookies from John Wall and Evan Turners class. The game seem to imported the new ratings, but the player movement is that of when the game originally shipped.

I know and double checked numerous times. Darren Collison is rated an 82 on Rashid's rosters. When I imported and started a new My PLayer, he was an 82 but he was still with new Orleans.

So for those that have the game, can you check if when we start my player mode, the game resets back to the default rosters.
