Stores that aren't national chains. Locally owned businesses. Best Buy and GameStop are not "mom & pop" stores.

Hank's Houston House of Games is a "'mom & pop" store.

I hate this thread every year. It makes so much more sense and creates a lot less clutter if people stop requesting cities over and over and just let people who get or have a lead on where to get it post in here. Then, you can PM them.

Instead there will be 50 pages of people saying "Yo! Anyone know where I can get it in [insert city here]??? PM Me!!"

Just to add to actual info... for my Chicago-land people, we are on lockdown every year. It's damn near impossible to get it early here. People swear by these street dates so it's Oct. 5th for us!

for information purposes, in my experience, the past few years nba 2k is usually not available to early-retailers very early. i think the best i did was a friday (last year i think), but typically it's more like saturday or definitely monday. i'm pretty surprised this thread has started so early this year. must be them two confirmed owners.

There is a spot in NE Ohio that has been known to sell games early. I cannot get there this week to confirm though. PM me for the location.

When making mention of a specific location, please spell it correctly and use the actual name, not slang terms. For example use Dallas as opposed to Big D or New York City as opposed to NYC. This will make searching the thread much easier.

I got the same info from many stores today so yes you are right tomorrow will have a better feel on what stores might have it..
