Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I'm on the PS3 and still experiencing the same sound issues. Anyone have a solution to this problem, or I just have to wait until they come out with a patch to fix it. Tired of hearing silence at the end of gamesPSN: kreem33

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I did what some people on here said and put my home up and away up under the same playlist but for some reason my potg custom music is still not playing. Also left chants empty.
As a matter of fact the only time i hear potg music is after an online game.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
i noticed the knicks play the reggae air horn when landry fields scores. I'll edit later tonight after work if somebody hasn't edited already.
Also, anybody know the agreed upon db levels for player sounds/home up beats? I really prefer my celtics, suns player sounds to the in-game ones...anybody got a good idea of what to put it as?Comment

Re: Site to download NBA Music
There are like eight different download links. I'd rather not search through them all if anyone knows where I can find these specifics songs I want.Comment

Re: Site to download NBA Music
Since there's confusion going on with new people trying to get into the convo of what's going on... I'm going to catch you up on the 160 posts and what is basically common knowledge here at OS and that way nobody else has to feel like they are asking the same questions over and over. Or answering the same questions over and over. This is a very daunting thread but this should be helpful for the newer folk:
- BTW those are the last two links in the first page. It is all the songs compiled into a Mega Set. For anyone that's new to this, you basically just need to download the final two links on the first page. And yes the first page is understandably confusing I've been following it since September. Those links are really all that is neccessary at this point.
- Other liinks on the first page are user submissions. So you can use them like "expansion packs".
- some songs need to be adjusted for db because they will be too loud and play over the announcer audio. You can use mp3gain to mass edit the songs. the dbs need to be between 87 to 89 for PS3 and 93 to 97 for Xbox.
- Xbox instructions for importing are on first page. Ps3 only needs a usb thumb drive.
- You must make the playlists yourself in the browser of your system and then bring them into the game under the folder you created.
- You must have the latest patched version of NBA 2k11 or the songs will not shuffle on PS3.
- You need to put songs in Away Up and Home up or they won't shuffle properly. They will play on offensive possessions so don't worry about any problems with putting them in Away Up.
- Tip Off only plays 5 seconds. There is no known fix for this.
- Songs cut off after 2 or 3 games. You have to reset the system to bring them back. Not a game killer, but it happens often so be prepared.
- Within the 161 pages if you search through the thread you'll probably find the songs you need if someone created them. If not, just ask and someone like myself or some others might can upload it. No one is going to do team specific sounds for all the 32 teams because they are not worth the work it takes. + most tracks in the Mega Set can cover a majority of the arenas.
- This feature is slightly broken, everyone is aware that they do not work perfect so more constructive posts would be offering up new music, player sounds, or even making requests. I think that'd keep the ball rollign and help get fresh music coming in. Most of the 160 posts are just several of us trying to fix the feature with work arounds. So outside of the first post and the last you have not really missed any critical information.
- Finally the ingame sounds as is, are very good. This feature may cause more headaches than enjoyment but it still a fun feature.
So, that's the sparknotes of everything in this thread. And it's here at the end so anyone new should be caught up.Last edited by lilbiggio; 01-09-2011, 01:21 AM.Comment

Re: Site to download NBA Music
Ok, yeah those aren't in there..
Is this what you're talking about for ESPN? is the TNT intro the same as the outro? I can for sure rip that ESPN one right now.Comment

Re: Site to download NBA Music
I can get that myself-- I'd rather do it personally anyway, since I'll likely have to loop it to sound like one song since it's shorter than the Player of the Game reel. Thanks for the link though, and if you find the TNT outro, let me know-- I don't think it's the same as the intro, although it might be.Comment

Re: Site to download NBA Music
Here's the answer to your question:
The ESPN/TNT themes are already included in the file set so you don't have to download it seperately from your arena songs.
Since there's confusion going on with new people trying to get into the convo of what's going on... I'm going to catch you up on the 160 posts and what is basically common knowledge here at OS and that way nobody else has to feel like they are asking the same questions over and over. So, that's the sparknotes of everything in this thread. And it's here at the end so anyone new should be caught up.
Just to add to this. Last night i made a playlist of 10 songs and put them in the Home and Away Up. I heard about 7 of them in total play throughout the game and even then it was the same 2-3 that played the most and the other 4 or 5 played only a few times. So basically keep your playlists short typically under 10 songs and then at least you will hear most of them played.
This was for the PS3 btw.Comment
