Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Good idea, here ya go.
I was watching the Thunder game last night and heard a custom sort of instrumental version of Dynamite by Taio Cruz so I made one kinda like it.
Heard the song "Apache (Jump On It) during a time-out at a Hornets game
Also at the Hornets game they were playing Gangsta's Paradise upcourt

I heard 'The Sweet Escape' yesterday when JR Smith and Ty Lawson did a great move. I know this is in the megaset already but if you want the specific bit that they played then here it is:
If you are not picky, this can be a generic Nuggets player sound but I personally will make it only for Ty and JR.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Okay so I've been keeping up with this discussion regarding the home/away settings but I'm still confused. I'm on 360, btw, if it matters.
So, for example, for MSG. Shouild I put the Knicks Hu Au Group 2 list from the megafile in the chant defense and chant team slots as well, or just leave them blank?Check out my WWE2K19 Universe Dynasty - "The Monday Night Wars...REIGNITED" WCW vs. WWE vs. ECWComment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Tried something tonight on the PS3 and it seemed to work out great. I have two generic playlists for InGame music. Each plalist has 37 songs. I assigned one playlist to "Away Up". I assinged the other playlist to "Chant Defense".
Sure enough, it worked the entire game. The playist for Away Up shuffled through my songs as the home team brought the ball up court. The playlist for Chant defense shuffled correctly as the away team brought the ball up court.
I left Tipoff, Short, Long, Home Up, & Chant Offense all as "none" with no playlists assigned. I did assign custom playlist to POTG, & Halftime.
Everything seemed to work great. Can someone elese test this out and tell me what results they got?
This is the best piece of advice on here. Great Find!
I am not sure if it plays your entire playlist but it certainly plays a good 75% of it and works throughout the whole game.
Just put it in for the specific arena you want though as when i tried to put it in for all arenas it stopped working.....

However, when the playlists have a small number of songs (50 or less) it seems to work when set to all arenas.
Also, a side note, you can always add the same song several times to your playlists if you want to have a greater chance of hearing that specific song several times throughout the game. For instance, I have "Everybody clap your hands" added 5 times to my "away up" playlist, along with 32 other songs. This way there is a greater chance of "everybody clap your hands" getting selected randomly from the list.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Thanks! Not working for all arenas might have something to do with the amount of songs you have in each playlist. If you have a ton of songs in each playlist (100 or more), then it seems to stop working as the game goes on when set to all arenas. At least it did in my game.

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
With the CHANT DEFENSE, you definitely need to have some variety because I don't think it will play the in-game chants if you have this playlist in use. For example, I had only two chants in my CHANT DEFENSE for Orlando. It only played one of the chants, but when I put in the other chant twice, it started to play both.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
So, if you notice something is not playing, I'd suggest putting it in twice. Putting it in again and deleting the old one might just reshuffle the problem. After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment

But I like the suggest of putting a song a few times in one playlist to hear it more. I'm going to give that a try on my team specific playlist. But for my generic playlist. I'm keeping it as is. I'm getting great shuffle mix. Because I've never heard the same song more then twice in one game. I also don't mind away type tracks playing for the home team. In one game I heard everybody clap your hands down on one end. Possession change and then I heard adams family theme song. And then final "teach me how to dougie".
It's pretty funny to hear my friends singing along with songs. Who are not even playing lolHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

On the PS3, in every AWAY UP playlist I've noticed that the first track does not play, meaning it has to be put in twice. Just want to pass this along and see if anyone else notices it.After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I'll give it a try. But I have so many songs in playlist. And hear so many different songs. So it really doesn't matter to me.
So Ruben... Maybe a All Star update by yours truly? lolHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Been taking a slight break from all this. I can change and totally edit the first post, if someone has a solid draft that I can copy and paste right in it's place, if someone wants to PM me.Comment
