Could somebody convert the files back to mp3? -
Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Press Triangle to display all.
but thats the least of the problems. Apparently the ps3 is very picky about the codecs used on the mps3. Almost half of them are apparently corrupt.
Gotta love the ps3.
A fix is in order.. Believe thatComment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
As soon as the season starts, I'll be sure to get the list of Blazers music on here. I did notice however they finally got the Blazers intro up on youtube:
Welcome to the Jungle going into weird techno song... anyone know the name of it?
Wally, i'm looking into some older retro organs right now and maybe some in-game music. One i know we definitely forgot to put in was "On the run" by Pink Floyd. The Bulls used that for their away teams in the late 90's, would do well in the random mix
Also, do you know anything more about how the arena music works for the retro arenas? Do they just work fall under the today's arenas?Last edited by Zen_Master07; 09-29-2010, 01:11 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
hey there guys! I have mentioned this before, but i'm new to 2K and am really excited about this custom music idea. But, I'm a little confused about it.
I downloaded the second file where I have a rar file filled with a ton of different sounds. So, once i get the game, do I just put the songs that I want for the different types of scenarios? So, if i want a BoB song to play during the intros at the target center, can i be that specific? I'm just not totally sure how this whole thing works. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
finally! Good to hear the PS3 people didn't get left out this year. I read the article, but any word if they added any new categories? like foul outs? Are there play reviews in the game? like for last second shots/buzzer beaters to see if they count?
I remember watching a game on TV and they played the Jeopardy theme while the referees where reviewing the play.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
The ps3 is killing me. Apparently it likes only one type of mp3 codec. Ipods, flash drives, 360s, macs, pcs, EVERYTHING else played the files as they were.
But apparently 459 files are flawed for the ps3
Does anyone know how to batch convert mp3s while keeping the mp3 tagging intact? I've got them all converted but now many tracks appear to have some sort of popping/clicking sound for a brief second and they lost their tagging. Was the conversion process interrupted for a moment? I'm truly no expert in that regard. I'm not really up for re categorizing 459 tracks. There has to be an easier way.
Zen master, from my understanding, the classic venues will fall under "ALL ARENAS", which is the overlying playlist for all of the venues. I think it overrides any team venue playlist. SO youd have to enter that menu CONSTANTLY to turn off and on all arena playlists.
Dirty Needles, The events from last year are the same for this year. Nothing has changed. Maybe the effectiveness of some, but the actual events are all the same. Nothing new to really add into the mix, songs wise. Jeopardy is kind of left with no place to go.
butie120, You can be as specific or vague as you want. The key with the 360 is playlist creation. In game, in the menu, all you see is playlist names. So you need to know whats in that playlist. Some people have one playlist for every song and just apply them that way. Others have larger playlists to get some variety. Tipoffs, most people seem to have either 1 or 2 tracks in that playlist. Just remember, with last years game, if you had a one song playlist for HOME UP, you pretty much got that same sound to be played constantly throughout the night.Comment
