dB on these new files is near that of the old files.
They play fine for me, not too loud at 95-97dB, so I have just left them as such.
It's really a 5 minute project downloading mp3gain,downloading the files to a usb drive, then copy onto the ps3, then in game and for that initial test. If they are too loud or low, plug in the usb on your computer, mp3gain that folder from the usb drive, and do the necessary changes. Then go back to ps3, delete all the new music and playlists, and add in the new files, back to the beginning step.
again, if its too much work, just dont use the file.
I got 360 users saying they're too low, ps3 users saying they;'re too loud, and no one doing the mp3gaining, themselves to fix the problem.
You dont even need to put all of the files on a usb. Just test out three or four tracks, and go from there. Ps3 files may be better suited around 91 or 93 dB. And maybe after testing that first or second track, you can MP3GAIN that entire folder and upload it for everyone else.. Or give me the proper DB levels and I can upload it for ps3 users..
I'm just really stuck here without a ps3 to play the game and do a DUAL test. My primary focus is on what sounds good for me, and im just sharing with others
