Has anyone made, or making a file with most of the players clips when they hit shots? I know i would really love the "Godfather sound clip" when Mo Williams hits a shot.

I made a ton of home and away up songs last year but I ended up not even playing 2K10 so I deleted all of them. Now I'm doing them all again. Here's what I have so far. I can't upload them right now. I thought maybe Ruben or somebody would be interested in these. They are all cut down to 26 seconds and reverbed. I used mp3gain and put them all at 92db. Most of them are songs I've actually heard during games.

squeakybirnbaum, Thanks for that link. I'll check it out ASAP.

Gekibird, thanks for informing us of your mp3gain settings for ps3. 87-89 dB is almost 10dB LOWER than what I need it set for on my xbox 360. So the difference is staggering. So much so that its really up to the user to change the songs to what they feel they need to be at

And thats the beauty of sharing and bringing those tracks out for people to hear.

Out of ~120 the main file set had accumulated, none of the ones that squeakybirnbaum posted are among them. I downloaded them and checked them out So now we instantly increase that total by 25% just like that..

Everyone add those ASAP. I may have to do a playlist overhaul once again

I'm trying to keep the homeup/away up playlists around the 20-21 song mark but with these additions, I may just lump in them and add 6 to each groups playlist and call it a day.

Is anyone having a problem with the player sounds on the 360? Everything else works fine for me but the Player Sounds do not play when a player scores.

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music

I'm a newbie with NBA 2K so be indulgent for my lack of knowledge about importing songs to the game.

I've downloaded the #1 file, I won't be doing playlist, I'll be good to go with already set playlist that we're created by the OP.

I'm intending to use Tversity has I did for NHL 11, so first question, will this work?

Second question, where are you going in the game to put these playlist?

Third question, there's a playlist limit for NHL 11, I'm seeing many different playlist from file #1. Is there a limit for NBA 2K or you can have intro for every team, songs for every team when they win, when player scores, etc?

I'll browse more tonight at home, but so far, I have to say that it's pretty impressive to see another great work to make that game just better for us.

I think the in game PA sounds may be overtaking or overriding anything custom for a few venues/players.

I heard kevin loves "i got love". But almost every other sound bit I tried, like Leandro Barbosas "beep beep", I wont hear it in Toronto.

It's times like that where you put in so much effort and it doesnt even work right that you want to quit. But one of these years itll be right.

FBeaule04, I'm under the impression that TVERSITY uses m3u playlists, which that file option #1 should contain. So if its recognized there, you should be okay..

I'm also under the impression that NHL uses the same type of playlist setup (correct me if im wrong).

In game, you go to FEATURES, 2K BEATS, ARENA MUSIC. Then you scroll left to right to find the playlists, and also use the triggers to go to different venues.

Once your system is synced up to a computer, which im sure it has been since youve done NHL, its nothing short of an easy experience.

After playing for awhile, you may find the sound levels are too low or too high. Keeping the playlists alone IN GAME, you can edit the files on your computer, and the changes take effect immediately. mp3gain is your friend.

AS far as playlist limit, Im sitting around 200 and i bet I could go as high as I want. Did NHL have a in game limitation on playlists that appeared in game? Im confused by a xboy 360 playlist limitation

I doubt it would, but did the new roster update fix the sound stuff for ps3 or not? Cause people said the new roster update secretly fixed some gameplay issues so maybe something real minor might have gone wrong for ps3 and they could have fixed it in roster update.

There's was a limitation in NHL 10 (I think it was 12 or something) so this year, didn't take any chance, I only have 8 playlist so I've got 30 different goal horns and song that play for every team.

Thanks for the answer, should be easy, I will just have to browse and then decide what I'm doing, mean if I'm going with personalized playlist for every team or doing like NHL with general playlist.

Thumbs up for the work you did by the way, it's pretty amazing and appreciated.

Man, I can't WAIT until the PS3 patch hits, so I can have a large group of random songs for it to pick from. I mean, it's really cool and all to have custom music, but not for just ONE song per event.

Ggggrrrrr..... It's gonna be SO nice one I can just have a playlist of songs to randomly pick from for Time Outs in particular.

Quick question for the mp3gain program...I notice the guy who did it for the PS3 he didn't mention the TV Themes. those are the one's I use. What should be the dB should be for the TV Themes?

Hey, What's up man? I'm sorry, I didn't mention the tv themes. I did those also. I run them at 88db. I use those exclusively for halftime, and as of now, (until the patch is out) potg also. With that setting, you can clearly hear the commentators talk as the music is playing during the halftime report.
