Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
all I can tell you maladude is that youre on the right track, if everything in game was working right. Theres just flaws stacked on top of bugs.
"Is home up working? Is away up even playing at the right times? Is there randomness at all?" Those are the questions one can be left with after trying this feature set on ps3. I say turn off most of that stuff that frustrating you, and enjoy the game.
Stacked among the almost 1,000 posts in here, someone actually tested out each event. I forget who you were, but I think the conclusion was, HOME UP was totally broken and wouldnt play. And that AWAY UP would play in its place for both home up and away up lol... Once they fix the randomness and suffling, place Homeup designated tracks in Chant Team, and the Awayup in the Chant Defense event listings.. That should solve any homeup/awayup issues. DONT USE THOSE events.
For some technology illiterate people, and not to slight yall one bit, it just may not be worth the hassle as the benefits BARELY outweigh the negatives.
NATIVO,
this has been floating around for awhile.. ideal gverb settings:

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
The link is for AUDACITY. I have tested it once with one track and it sounds decent on my computer. Im sure itll come through just fine in game.
I just want to prep everyone for this upcoming start of the regular season.
Get out your pen, paper, headphones, camera, and start listening to what you hear in real nba venues. An audio recorder would do the job too.
This is where the 800 tracks get segregated into realistic venue placements for the new year.
Take notice of what you hear for TIPOFF, TIMEOUTS, PLAYER SOUNDS when they score, and in game music when the ball is in play.
I'd be more than willing to help. But it'll take a group effort to get some authentic playlists out there. Time to contribute. All it takes is one song to start making one arena more unique than the other.
Pay special attention to player sounds. That appears to be the one thing that works for ps3.
For variety sake, I would like to get atleast the top 2 players on each team. Notables missing:
Dirk
Lebron
Durant
Iggy
Tim duncan
Yao
Granger
Monta
Jennings
etc..
(all Rookies)
you get the picture. Almost all player sounds are needed. Focus should probably be placed entirely on player sounds to capture most of the leagues top guysLast edited by RubenDouglas; 10-24-2010, 09:37 PM.Comment

Tipoff:
Celtics- Welcome to the jungle, Ayo technology is the player intro song.
Mavs- Welcome to the jungle
Cavs - Let it rock
Bulls - Enter Sandman
Hornets - Zombie Nation with Rick Flair WOO! (I already made this and it sound EXACTLY like I heard it on TV)
Bobcats - All of the above
Blazers - some sort of fan clapping until tipoff (already downloaded)
Clippers- On to the next one (i think it was the clippers)
Hawks - Uprising by Muse (awesome)
Jazz and Lakers - I got a feeling
Nuggets- it takes two
Warriors- zombie nation
Timberwolves- When doves cry (yes I know-weird)
I have most of theses songs done already, AND im working on a set for tipoff that plays the most recognizable part of the song for 7 seconds in case the patch doesnt fix the tipoff song length issue. Let me know if anyone is interested.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
All that sounds awesome.. Great job.
I dont know if we should assign games to watch and report back or just have whoever wants to come and go, post what they hear for a particular game.
I know the national telecasts should net some great results but the lower tiered teams need love too. This could turn into something quite specialComment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Loving this idea Ruben, I can remember these songs being played at a recent Bulls preseason game (vs Raptors):
Train - If it's love
Sean Kingston - Fire Burning
BEP - I gotta feeling
Also from the first Miami pre-season game:
Tip-off is the same as the one in your audio pack
Long:
Justin Bieber - Baby
Flo Rida - Club Can't Handle Me
That's all I got at the moment, but as I watch more games I'll keep updating this post.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I been using long for timeouts. What I've been doing is before I into 2k11. I switch whatever the song is. Been getting really good result with the dB at around 87-88.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
This isn't custom to any arena, but for the "Player of the Game" song for all arenas I'm using Jay-Z's "Encore". I like that song in this context...Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Happened once to me. you need to delete everything from your library inside WMP 11 on your computer.. Then go to tools/ options. library. monitor folders (i think thats right) and readd or RESCAN the my music folder.. that fixed my issueComment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
Don't expect any significant patch to come until late November to Early December per ronnie2k on twitter.
The patch 2day is for online connection issues.
This sucks, I wanted to start my season with my custom music but i guess no game is perfect.Comment
