nooo. lol, another 4 weeks of this is "today the day the real patch comes out" torture lol!

Will keep my word on compliling music though from the real games. That much shouldn't be too hard.

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music

      Hello.

I just bought a PS3 in order to play NBA 2K11.

Like all of you PS3 users, I have the "shuffle" problem.

I have some newbie questions for you guys (so please forgive me).

1). Where exactly will the patch be available? Is it on the Playstation Network or some other site???

2). Does the Playstation Network cost anything to subscribe to?

3). I don't have internet at home. (I'm at the library right now). HOWEVER, sometimes if the signal is good, I can "borrow" a wireless signal from my neighbors. BUT I notice when I go to the sign up part on the Playstation Menu, it says something like "Broadband required". SO my question is do I need to go out and sign up for broadband internet to join the Playstation Network (and therefore the Patch) or will I be able to use the Playstation network on my "borrowed" wireless internet??

Sorry for the Newb questions. Any help?

        1. If you're online, it will automatically download
        2. No
        3. Yes you will have to get broadband, as you need a good signal to play online

        welcome to PS3!

Any consensus as to what decible level sounds loudest/best in the game? I boosted mine up and they sound even softer. Want to get a generally agreed upon decible level before I burn them again.

Do you still need help with this? This was also frustrating me for a few days, but I found the exact reason behind it. Let me know, or PM me.

Most on ps3 seem to think 87-89dB is a good level.

On xbox 360, I am finding great success with 95-97 range,

I haven't been able to read more than 10% of this thread, but does anyone else have issues with custom sound causing all sounds to disappear? Im on the PS3 and added just a song for tipoff, but none of the other events will play (especially during my season save file). Even after i removed all custom arena music, it seems like my season save file is still messed up with no sounds for arena.

                  Hi everyone,

Downloaded the playlists for the 360 and they are awesome. (Thank you for all of the hard work). The music will play for each event, so no issues there. My question is though, can you not set a sound/music for the player as well? Doesn't seem to work for me.

I apologize if this has already been addressed.

                  Thanks!

Sorry if that was a vague question. What I meant does it work in myplayer mode? The tipoff, home/away, POG, half time, etc all work, but when I set something for myplayer or someone else on my team, I do not hear the sound.

This is for the 360. Maybe something to do with the audio? I have the PA, crowd and commentary up. Any suggestions?

GAME TIME. Let's get this as accurate as possible. One song, two songs, a dozen. whatever you hear, contribute.

First of all i want to thank you Ruben and everyone that contributes for all of your work, you guys make the game more enjoyable. I started watching the Boston game in the fourth and i heared these songs played during timeouts.
                              Beastie Boys-"Fight for your right"
Sly and the family stone-"Dance to the music"
Guns and roses- "Welcome to the jungle"
Bee Gees-"You should be dancing" was at the end of the game.

Crazy Train & Welcome to the Jungle- BOSTON TIPOFF

I gotta replay the game to get a glimpse of everything if I wanted to do that. but just hearing and watching, I'd say everything matches up 95% to whats in the filesets

Heres a listing from last year for Boston:

                                http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2041723219

                                Tonight I heard:

                                Blitzkreig Bop
                                SHOUT- Otis Day
Kiss- Rock and Roll all nite
                                50 cent- ayo tech
                                jump around
                                Im shipping up to boston
Along with what socal 123 posted.

As far as I can, I think I'm done with true uniqueness just two games into the viewing season. Out of the 240+ generic long tracks, have some fun and pick ANYTHING because more than likely, itll be played in some fashion.

This is getting on the verge of double work and redundant x 100
