Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
nice wheelman. most of those are going straight into a playlist and into my game.
ronyell, its tough to say at this point. I guess we'll have to see for ourselves. Last year, when one playlist was activated, It seemed to triggered something in the game to look to that playlist every other trip down court. Or very frequently. With no option but to play that 1st or 2nd song, it just went to being replayed again and again and again.
Looking at how the categories are the same (with one removed), and even NOW only one playlist per event, It seems like they have gone more barebones, so I doubt they looked into the randomness of custom playlists vs. whats being played in game.
It would see like the game should register that there are 1000 new sound effects in GAME, and my new playlist has 1 song. There should be a balance but I didnt see it last yearComment

Zen master deserves all that credit. He really put the file set over the top. All the live stuff is from him. Just some great teammate went into getting this stuff compiled.
Otherwise, it would be hundreds of posts with 5-6 tracks here, a mp3 there, a zip file there. Some reverbed, some not. Just some messy stuff if you think about the alternative.
----
If anyone downloads wheelman990's file, it has about 11 tracks already in the main mix. I'm sure you can weed them out. It does have some more great menu/long tracks that belong in everyone's playlist

Peter_OS, the simple answer to how you get this on a XBOX 360 and if its similar to a ps3, is that:
XBOX360:
Unless you stream, there is a STRICT system to get it on your harddrive. This requires cd-rs and the ability to make AUDIO CDs (80 minute limitations).
PS3:
Here you can use a flash drive, a mp3 data disc, and cd-r audio discs. With flash drive ability, ALL mp3 names and group/event tags are attached.
For the 360 version, upon ripping a track, you are left with nameless tracks and almost no way to get that work done efficiently.
IMO, if you have the option of either system, If you can't stream onto a 360, do not even bother. The USB copy method on the ps3 is just too easy to want to pass up onComment

This is a Lakers organ I've been looking for does anyone know what the name of this song is, they play something like this all the time at Lakers games. I've heard a pop song with this beat but I didn't know the name at the time...Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
I need help please.
Wanted to transfer the songs and get this ready for when the game drops on October 5th. I copied the mp3 music to a CD-R and transfered them to the Xbox 360, but I'm not getting the title track names. It says this is an untitled album. How am I supposed to know which song to choose?Comment

Re: NBA 2k11 Custom Arena Music
1 song on a playlist is horrible for the LONG option the game will play that 1 song for every timeout. It's great for the player specific sounds such as dhowards superman themeComment
