EB Myer Centre where I pre-ordered said Friday 8th, but would give me a call if they get it earlier. I expect them to get it on the 7th, because I tend to find new releases come on Thursdays for whatever reason. I doubt EB will sell it early, they'll just have it on site in storage room waiting for date that they can sell it.

All that being said, I'd be very surprised if any of you guys get it before the 6th. I've given up on looking for games early as I always end up disappointed & waste time & petrol. I don't mind waiting one more week

I've been looking around with no luck... EB in mandurah release madden early every year, so hopefully they do with 2k aswell.
If I head up to Perth I'll check out JB in the city, I got 2k10 about 10 days early there last year. I can only hope for this year too...

mmmm, well fellas, I actually work at DSE carindale!!!

and Ive been checking the dates its meant to be delivered and every day it changes.
Im not sure about the 2nd. distribution hasnt recieved it yet.

the brochure says 8th. the release date is the 8th supposedly.
hopefully we will get it before then, but it may be on QC hold [ cannot be sold till the date] which would just kill me.

I didnt work today so i have no idea if its status has changed.
will be finding out tomorrow.

Im going on holidays for 2 weeks for this baby.

its what I do annually. try to get my holidays in line for 2k because I got editing to do!! year in year out since its debut on the DC. and before that the live series on the playstation. and before that the live series on the mega drive. and before that tvsports basketball on the amiga 500.

I love NBA gaming.

Nogster im pretty sure i have been d-loading ur rosters last 2 years i definatly on nba 2k10... I had no idea u were an Aussie!

Hopefully the game is awesome which i gotta a feeling it will be!...tho i did hear the cu trade logic is still broken

Ill do some asking around tomorro...Ive never heckled anyone for an early release what would be the best way should i offer some $$

What the hell is up with all these people from/near Carindale? I used to work there a few months ago and lived pretty close! This is bizarre haha.

I just got FIFA 2 days early from Gametraders, but I'm not in Brisbane anymore so I don't know. I'm sure someone is bound to release it early, since the game will be already out in the states, so as soon as most stores get stock in they just put it out. I just hope the PC version arrives in a timely manner...

Yoo. Just so everyone here knows.. EB are actually pretty good. They aren't too tight arse!
And i'm in a smallish town in country Victoria.

I got NBA 2k8 a day earlier than release date.
NBA 2k9 3 days earlier then the release date.
NBA 2k10 a 2 days earlier then release date.

So they aren't that bad.. the girl just called me up and said "Hey your games just arrived in the store so feel free to come pick it up anytime". So with saying that i don't see why they won't release the game if you show proof that dicksmith have it out as early as the 2nd!

WoW this is a brisbane thread, and Nogster...wow man can't believe your aussie! let alone carindale!!!!!! hahahah!, I'm so keen to get this game :L, yeah thats what EB said to me, that they should get it early and they would sell it, can't believe that there are so many from around Carindale here though!

I live in Melbourne and I am going to hit up Dick Smith at Knox City on Saturday morning.

Will let you know if they sell it to me then if they have. Cant believe the Dick Smith website has a release date of the 2nd!!!

Eb games and GAME at Capalaba both said they don't have it and its not on there despatch list for today..

gonna try jb hifi and DSE soon.. anyone had luck yet>?
