some annoying issues i'm noticing so far


I'm on ps3 playing on sim/allstar settings...

1.)when not running a play your teammates just stand around and don't move at all. I didn't have this problem in the demo. even if you don't call a play, your teammates should still be making cuts and trying to make things happen. I don't know if maybe it's tied to the difficulty - maybe on sim/allstar 2k is trying to force you to run more plays by making your teammates stand around like dummies...if that is the case I don't agree with it. teammates should still move around and make cuts no matter what modes you're using. if anything, they should move MORE on sim because they should have more offensive awareness.

2.) pick and roll/pop seems to be completely broken. 99 percent of the time, when I call for a pick, my teammate won't roll to the hoop after setting the pick. he will usually set the pick and then just stand there in the same spot...this was not a problem it the demo. it worked great in the demo, but in the full game on sim/allstar it's not working. i don't know if this may be tied to the mode/difficulty, but it needs to be fixed. just because the game is on sim/allstar, it shouldn't cause my players to become inept at cutting after setting a pick.

Situation: Halftime

I played two quick games last night and both halftime shows were screwed up. The first was Bulls vs Sonics. They highlighted Kemp and showd the same replay 3 times. They also proceeded to say how well Kukoc was playing and followed that by showing the same missed jumper 3 times.

Second game was Heat vs Celtics. I don't even remember who they highlighted but the show was thes same 2 or three passes repeated. Both games gametracker and end of game highlights were fine. Not sure what the problem is. Is it the fact that I only have a 20GB hard drive? Any suggestions?

The same issue (see quote) has occurred on PS3 in both association games and quick play. In one game a replay of someone dribbling in the corner played repeatedly.

Details:
I don't know if anybody else is experiencing this, and it might be a glitch--but when time outs are set to AUTO the CPU is only calling 20 second time outs for both teams. That means I only get to hear 20 seconds of my long custom tracks. There have been times when the CPU does call a 60 second time out, but it's rare. If I call a time out manually then I can choose between 20 or 60 seconds which is cool.

Details: Every time your player jumps for a rebound and touches the ball, you get credited an offensive rebound, even if the ball ends in the hands of the other team players.

Details:It seems that every time I hire one of the randomly generated 2k coaches the on court model ends up being Larry Brown or Patrick Ewing or an already existing Nba coach...The worst part about it being Doris Burke will refer to him as Larry Brown if he has the Larry Brown model so on and so forth even though Larry Brown has retired in my Association and I did not hire Larry Brown

SITUATION (This includes quarter/time left): All in game
CUSTOMIZATION (Were you using specific sliders/roster edits): Own music playlists created on PS3
DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): A few issues with the custom arena sounds... Whenever I assign a playlist to any of the categories in the Arena Music section(inc. All Arenas or any specific arena), even if there are more than 1 song in that playlist, only one song will play over and over again from that playlist. For example, if I assign a playlist with 100 songs for All Arenas > Long, it will only play one of those songs through out the game.

Also, the music assigned to the "Tipoff" playlist only plays for about 4 seconds where as last year (for the 360), the music started playing when they were showing starting line ups.

And also, the game will only let me choose from 64 playlists, even though the PS3 allows 128 playlists to be on the system.

DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): I played almost thru game 1 but had to save it so i could go back to it later on I was somewhere in the 3rd quarter, and when i loaded it back up to play i couldnt control any of the players. I was simply just able to watch the game. I tried to look at settings to see if i could possibly switch so the controller was controlling the bulls but nothing was available. So i loaded the game up but couldnt continue to play because i cant control anyone.

DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): Icons are mixed up, "C" & "D" when selecting a player to run a play for. Example: Was trying to run a play for Amir Johnson (PF) and the icon above his head was "C" so I pressed the "C" icon on my Logitech Gamepad but the play was intended for Keliza who had the "D" icon above his head even tho I pressed the "C" button.

DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): After a shot is blocked, the player that catches the deflection or grabs the ball off of the bounce is not credited with a rebound. This lowers stats significantly and they are not being tracked properly.

DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): It wouldn't continue after the first quater. It went to the highlights thing and all the players were still in the huddle and the score was still on screen. Was able to pause and exit.
VIDEO (if available): Nope.

SITUATION (This includes quarter/time left): David Andersen of the Toronto Raptors getting dunked on.
CUSTOMIZATION (Were you using specific sliders/roster edits): Using mod to update Amway Arena.
DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): I dunked on David Andersen 3 times. Twice with Vince Carter and once with Q. His head entirely disappeared after getting dunked on all 3 times.
VIDEO (if available): Not at the moment but I saved the 2nd Vince one,just need to find it.
