I contacted 2K earlier today, there having problems recreating the issue in Hartlepool but they know about it and are working towards fixing it.....
As long as you don't sign into the PSN network playing online is fine!
Still find it VERY strange that it only appears to be an issue within the UK?

Having the same issue, I just play with the PS3 internet off and it works but if its on it doesnt work.

Hopefully they can get a fix out soon as I want to start a new association with the trade players moved and the nba draft.net 2011 draft players. I know I could probably find these manually but I am lazy

GAME MODE: Quick Play (may show up in other game modes)
SITUATION (This includes quarter/time left): when your player is blocked.
CUSTOMIZATION (Were you using specific sliders/roster edits): HoF + realistic slides downloaded on 2k-share. But might also happen no matter the difficulty.
DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): when you are making a layup and a player blocks you a la chase-down, throwing ball toward the crowd behind the backboard, instead of your team gets the inbound ball possession, ref gives ball possession to opponent team. This shouldn`t happen because the last player to touch the ball before it goes out of bound was the one who blocked the layup.

DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): Let's see:

#1 - No one fouls out

#2 - When I'm in the Rumor Mill or League Transactions section and try to play next game, the game crashes. This happens every time I do this

#3 - Started a new my player mode and first three endorsements were already unlocked

#4 - Team Chemistry is stuck at 0%. I was traded to the Spurs my rookie season, and that seemed to tick every one off. Ginobili and Jefferson were traded away, but George Hill is still angry even though his role is now starter but he's only getting around 20 mins a game. Something is definitely off when it comes to how the CPU determines roles and minutes.

UGH. major issue..

my game will not get past the first screen. i "press start" and it goes to "Checking HDD Space" and will not get past it. help?

I've had this problem the last couple days. I've tried deleting everything and still getting this problem. Anyone else know what's going on or have a solution?

Update:
Found the solution. After copying everything to jump drive and it still not working i tried to figure what changed since the last time i played. After some soul searching i remember i changed the ps3 time from standard to daylight savings.So i changed it back to standard time and whammy, we're back in business. Why the time makes a difference i have no idea but that was only thing i changed and now it works so fine with me. Very odd though.

I signed Samuel Dalembert and in his second game i noticed something shocking... He had 3 point icon and couldnt believed it. Then I check his attributes, 99 3PT shooting!!! And I am using the offical 2K roster. Is this some kind of stupid joke by 2K sports or what? Well I changed his 3PT rating to 25, which is realistic.

Anyone else noticed this kind of bug?

DETAILS (Please be as detailed as possible in text): When a man is engaged in the post, and then he faces up, it creates an unrealistic amount of space between him and the defender. The defender usually is left standing there with like 3 feet of space between him and the defender.

DETAILS: Kinda lengthy but:

In the Association mode, I do a fantasy draft. Once the draft is done, I prefer to do trades. Here's the glitch:

1.) Go to Manage Roster > Trades > Trade Finder
2.) Select a player from your team (in this case, let's say...LeBron James) and press start to see what you would get for the chosen player.
3.) Since I have chosen LeBron, let's say someone offers Kobe Bryant. Accept the trade and fix rotation.
4.) NOW, this is VERY important: Go to Manage Roster > Trades > Player Finder. Type in the player's last name you just received (Bryant). Find the player and hit Trade Finder. Kobe will pop with Lebron, although you've already traded LeBron.

The glitch is that the player I just traded away still comes up on my own trade screen once I follow these instructions. So really it could look like:

Trade: Deron Williams
For: Derrick Rose
Follow Instructions
Find Rose and Deron Williams in trade package, looking at an offer for Blake Griffin and Pau Gasol. You can even remove Rose (who you DO have; but keep Williams on the trade screen, who you DON'T have) so you can trade away NOTHING for a really good player.

I've had Bosh, LeBron, Yao Ming, Durant, Derrick Rose, Steve Nash, Carlos Boozer, Bogut and even Kobe all on the SAME TEAM. I even simulated the whole season and went 72-10 and swept every team in the playoffs to win the NBA Championship (Celtics).

Please let me know if this works for you!

EDIT: Just did one and tried to build the starting dream team...got that and a LOT more:

PG - Magic Johnson
SG - Michael Jordan
SF - Larry Bird
PF - Karl Malone
C - Patrick Ewing

Bench:

PG - Chris Paul
SG - D-Wade
SF - LeBron
PF - Pau Gasol
C - Dwight Howard

Other:

PG - Derrick Rose
SF - George Gervin (random, but I like the Iceman)

The loophole was based around Jordan (first overall pick) and then traded him for a DIFFERENT Jordan and just kept trading the Jordan I didn't have for all the other players.

SITUATION during gameplay

CUSTOMIZATION:default online ranked settings

DETAILS: i noticed when playing online when the servers are down and the original rosters are being used, contact/contested shots dont work at all. if the defender is crowding the offensive player, the offensive player will still shoot a normal jumper.
when the server is up and working, the contact/contested jumpers work perfectly fine but i also notice that when playing with Dirk Nowitzki, his signature fadeaway leg kick animation from posting up doesnt work. it just does the standard fadeaway. when the server goes down, his signature fadeaway is working again. kinda strange.

I believe that's part of the glitch as well. It says I'm -$250 million. Most of the other teams are in the green because they don't have the stars pay all their money to. Crazy, I know, but it works.

If I get a video of this, I'll definitely upload it. First, I'll prove that the team I just mentioned above, I actually have. And then I'll show how to do it.
