Problem: I start the game and it proceeds to load and gets stuck at the "LOAD FILE" screen. I turn off my 360 and try again and it freezes at the same "Load File..." Its happened 10 times in a row. Is it time to get a new disc or will I have the same problem?

same thing is happening 2 me . i unhooked my ethernet cable and it works now.

Mode: Quick game and Association
No customization, most current official 2k roster

3 times so far, once in association, twice in quick games. A player for the opposing team will get to 6 fouls, and not foul out. They stay in the game and in my most recent case of this happening, Marc Gasol had 8 personal fouls and was still in the game. I've read that this can happen with myplayer mode or in the Jordan challenge or even a few instances where it's happened with retro teams. But this was with current teams, the most up to date rosters, and no customization. I'm using the default simulation slider set with 2 or 3 very minuscule tweaks, and all the rules set to "on".

If there is a workaround please let me know by messaging me as it's a bit painstaking going through dozens of pages trying to find your original post and someones response. Thank you.

This has to be the most glaring omission I have seen, You can play a exhibition online against a friend of whoever is in custom lobby and make adjustment for FOULS but in your own online league they removed the option to adjust fouls, and then to make it worst they don't call Any fouls, Nothing like a 12 min qrt game and only 3 fouls are called the whole game..YOU CANT BE SIM BASKETBALL GAME AND NOT GOTO THE LINE BECAUSE THERE ARE NO FOULS....

i was just playin myplayer and i think ellis just missed a shot n i was going for the offensive rebound the ref whistle tweets....and the screen quickly flashed black the n went back to the game........n all the players top hlaves were missin......sooooo yea

Anybody know why i cant even start an association or Season...at team select screen after i pick the 76ers it asks me if im sure i select yes and then it freezes! Did anyone else experience this at all? I have custom Sliders and a roster share file ported to my HDD via USB...Thanks

Having the same problem on PS3 can't start a Season or Association.

Fixed it. As stated in prior posts. Wireless, turn off auto sign in and and Living Roster. I didn't even exit out this time. Accidently left auto save on in custom season mode and I'm good.

I need help, have a PS3 and I have edited most of the rosters and created players to reflect many of the classic teams from that era.

Everytime I start and Association with that roster, it freezes I am now on the sixth in a row.

What gives?

Been there, turn off automatic sign in, NBA today, and living rosters. Load your custom roster and start Association. You can leave the auto save feature in Association on. It will automatically save and you should be good. Hope it works.

XBOX 360, online. In the first quarter of a game, all the players heads, arms, and torsos disappeared, leaving only the legs and feet. Seriously. Game had to be abandoned. Shame too since I was so thrilled to get into an online game after waiting at least five minutes.

Well i deleted the 2kShare roster file i was using and used the 10-29-10 roster update from 2K and everything worked fine...dont know what the problem was.

I'm really sick of the pathetic online service 2k gives. I stopped playing Madden for the first time ever cause I finally decided it wasn't worth supporting a game that was never changing. I think 2k is really getting to that point with me when it comes to online. I am an online player, I like association and all that but when it comes down to it I rather be dominating in team-up and 2k's online service flat out SUCKS!!!!!! Year in year out same story, same thing with Madden game play. I mean wtf are they doing, they've had the same problem for 5 years, I guess that means its not fixable or something. I really can't stand this **** anymore.

Really makes me wanna scream, I want to walk into 2k and bitch slap them all for putting out this pathetic online gameplay. When there is no or minimal lag the game is great but the lag and constant disconnecting makes online nearly unplayable. Takes 30 min just to find a game you won't DC in. So stupid.

Today I discovered that on the PC, in My Player mode, every time I tip a rebound on the offensive end, it counts as a Rebound. However, on the PS3, that never counts as one, only when you tip to yourself.

Further proof that the PS3 version is an older build maybe. (Sock glitch, high layups, and now this).

MAJOR GLITCH WITH AUTOSAVE! Ok so I am playing a few Associations and I went and loaded a game with one of my associations (Golden State) which I had saved a mid-game a few days ago. I finished the game and saw that it was "Saving Assocation." I then exited that association only to find out that it was Autosaving over the Association which I had played last night, with the Atlanta Hawks. For some reason when it was Autosaved after I finished the GS game, it saved it over the Hawks association and not the GS one so now I don't have the Hawks Association saved anywhere anymore and I have 2 copies of the GS one. REAL FRICKIN LAME. I guess I'll just ALWAYS turn off auto saving cuz that just plain sucks that the GAME chose to save over the wrong file when I had no choice.

Freezing when starting an association with a created team

Haven't followed this thread, so if this has been discussed, sorry.

This isn't 100% consistent, but happens more often than not. Start an association and have customize league turned on, switch a team out with a created team (or exported team that is loaded onto the roster), select the team you swapped in, and when you press start, the game freezes.
