I answered my own question and I wanted to share what happened. If you get the record/stat glitch in your association, it could be the kiss of death. I played 3 games after the glitch with my new record of 2-1 (13 games in). I won all 3 games and when i checked my record I was 3-3. No use in playing this association anymore.

I am wondering if this has anything to do with the d-league. Becuase the glitch seemed to coincide with the start of their season. The d-league was 0-1 when the glitch happened. Then they were 0-3 when I was 3-3. I played one more game then they did after the glitch. I might be grasping at straws though.

I can't get the game to remember my sliders i set it to simulation...it keeps reloading defalt sliders at start...... all set on 50...

Just finished playing a game in association mode. Played 3 quarters, and then decided to let the cpu sim the 4th and final quarter. The CPU did not sim the 4th quarter. 0 points were registered for the 4th quarter for both teams!?! No stats were simmed for this quarter. lol.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

Yep had this happen last night to me for the first time. I was up big and didn't feel like playing the scrubs in the 4th quarter to get their minutes so they don't whine about playing time. I'll have to see if this is a common problem because I'll often sim a 4th quarter if I have a 17 plus point lead.

I waited to start a new association until after the trade deadline. Before starting, I went to the 2K rosters and everything was up to date except for Bibby to the Heat and TMurphy to the Celtics. I assigned Bibby to the Heat no problem, but when I try to assign Murphy to the Celtics it says this team needs 12 players. I thought they meant the Warriors since they are the team losing a player, but they have 14 players so it should be ok.

I tried to add a 45 overall FA to the Warriors and THEN assign Murphy to the Celtics, but it still wouldn't let me. I realize now they mean the Celtics don't have enough players, but I don't understand why I can't ADD a player to a team that needs players. I tried adding a random FA to the Celtics so I could perform a straight swap for Murphy but it seems I can't do anything with the Celtics roster because of the injured O'Neals... Is there a workaround for this? It's very confusing being unable to add a player to a roster because they don't have enough players...

There's one glitch that might be useful

in association, when you put jordan sneakers with attributes on a player and you do the weekly practices with them that improve that attribute (ex. +4 shot 3pt jordans on someone then do shootaround practice or shooting practice which works on 3pt shot also, the attribute will go up permanantly if done for like 2-3 months into your season) i've taken a center with 25 3pt and made them a 94 by end of season from 3. This works as long as the jordan bonus can be practiced. So the jordan vertical sneakers for example can't up your vertical because no weekly practice works on verticals. This can almost assure you can make any player good as along as they can wear jordan sneakers.

Situation: Calender + Weekly Practice
Customization: None
Details:

Bobcats Association. ( Fresh Start )

Have only released a few big contracts and signed some cheap FA's for backup that can be worked with.

I assign weekly practice's to players. I visit the calender and play my next game, when all is said and done, I revisit the calender to find a weekly practice tab missing the next day.

Question: Will the practice still be completed even though the practice tab for that day is gone? Will the targeted player acquire said attribute bonus from this practice?

I just conceded Free Throws following a defensive foul!?

Howard set a screen on Billups and Billups plowed hrough the screen and fouled Howard, it came up as a personal foul on Billups, but the suddenly Billups is on the FT line knocking down 2. WTF?

It started in the playoffs of the sixth year in my association. Players' stats started to show extremely wrong numbers and were the same for every player effected. It continued into the next regular season and completely threw off the all-star teams (they were all averaging 100+ points.) This bug was also in 2k10.

Dear 2k. After finishing a season in My Player, I wrote a poem about my experience. It's called "Why?"

Why must my 80+ rated mid/3pt shooting teammates keep shooting 20% from the field?
Why doesn't my team run plays for me, even though I'm the most efficient scorer on the team?
Why does my score go down for "passing up open shot" when the cpu throws me the ball so that it makes me go out of bounds?
Why does my point guard just shoot 3's when I call a quick screen?
Why does outcome of games already seem to be determined before the game? (I just played the raptors which I easily beat 3 times, and the 4 time nobody on my team could make a shot except me. So I did not save my progress and replayed the game. My team still could not make a shot.)
Why does the press conference just seem you're playing rock paper scissors with the fans/teammates/league?
Why do you still allow 7'8" point guards to play online in crews?
Why?

Doesn't actually belong in here but how i can i switch on defense? Like when the opposing team does pick and roll and my big guy comes to help how can i keep him the big guy defending the guy coming from the pick? If i try that the other guy comes too and doesn't realize i switched and the opposing big guy is left alone. Sorry about my english not my first language.

I got into the month of February in my game and now every game I play locks up immediately at the end of the first quarter. This occurs right before the announcers are about to say who is going to play in the future. Screen goes black and you can hear some crowd noise but the intermission report simply never occurs and the game is frozen. I think my game is broke for good.

I get to February 28th in my first season in the Association and now it won't let me go to March. I click to sim to March 1st and it refuses to advance and when I click on Feb 28th daily view the last two games (all 4 teams are CPU teams) will not simulate. Is my season just ****ed now?

I don't know if this is a bug or glitch but I'll put it in here anyways.

My Player Mode: I'm a PG for the Trail Blazers, and have risen to the starting job. So my team traded away Andre Miller. Good enough. That left me and Patty Mills as the only PG.

Now Mills has been sent to the D-League, leaving me as the only PG on the team. Also, none of our SG are PG/SG, so I'm the only PG, period. This has meant that I now have to play the entire game without ever going to the bench, which is frustrating and completely unrealistic.

So, I started a couple of other seasons just as an experiment and played a game in each (1 minute quarters) to see if the game would go to the second quarter and it did each time...UNTIL I got to the first game after Feb. 8th. The first game after Feb. 8th is the end of my association in all three associations that I have tried. You cannot get into the second quarter EVER. It says we'll be right back and locks up. Very disappointed because I was considering this to be the best game I have ever played sports wise. I absolutely love it but now it is worthless. Does anyone know if there are any patches that have fixed this problem so I can continue on the last 30 games of my season?

This is a major issue and I think I deserve a refund.

Hello,does anyone have a problem where all the player and team specific commentary just stops midway through the my player season? All i get now is basic stuff, nothing about star players or team stories, in playoffs they only mention playoff stuff in pregame and postgame comments. Sorry if this was already mentioned.
