Not a huge issue, but it'd be nice to be fixed.

System: Xbox 360
Game Mode: Association
Situation: N/A
Customization: Replaced Thunder with Sonic
Details: In certain menus the team name will show up as '95-96 Seattle Sonics.' Nothing earth shattering, but for the sake of continuity, it'd be great to get it straightened out.

I would say player roles and chemistry worked alright last year. At least last year we didn't see huge injuries (and subsequent large ratings drop) lead to reassigning the player roles which then leads to large morale drops.

Couple this with no trades after year 1 in most associations + by year 5 and 6 you can sign elite players to mid level contracts and build a super team. The Association mode is broken IMO. I'm starting to prefer last year's association mode and am sad I got so hyped up after the Insight.
2k needs to get a better test team.

Wow, I didn't hear about all this. I hope these things are patchable, because the game itself is awesome, but I need an association. How does the signing superstars to the MLE in 5 years thing even work?

I have the PS3 version and with my surround sound system I can barely hear the PA announcer even if I turn up the volume in the presentation menu to 100...the volume is fine on the 360 demo...anyone else notice this?

If you try to edit the XIs with custom colors the third color selection doesn't change anything. 2k needs to make the 3rd color selection control the color of the sole of the XIs. I've noticed this with some of the other js as well. 2k please do something with a patch to give us better color blocking for better accuracy on the jordans. I'm a huge sneakerhead and it bugs the hell out of me to have all black or black with red patent leather XIs. Please 2k! Everything else in the game is amazing!

Have not read this whole thread. But anyone else not getting the name of the plays showing up? Like when you have it on auto. I'm just getting a gray box.

Is it just me or is Jordan mode broken?

I can play on season mode and shoot exactly the same way I do in Jordan mode and shoot 50-55% from the field, but in Jordan mode its more like 35-38%. I even keep on the shooting feed back in Jordan mode and its in the green 80% of the time and I am still missing a ton. Even with Jordan. As a test, I took the same Jordan I was using in Jordan mode but in season mode and he goes from an 38% shooter to 65%.

So I'm mainly playing as the Bulls and am playing on Sim All Star. Here are some of my impressions of the game thus far:

-Learning curve of this game is pretty steep

-This game basically REQUIRES you to run plays it seems like. I'm bringing the ball up with Rose. If I don't call a play, all the players just stand there. No movement whatsoever. I remember in 2k10, players were setting backscreens for each other. Even though it was odd to see Noah or Gibson coming off curl screens, at least it was SOME movement. Anyone else seen this?

-Rose misses a lot of layups. It's rough.

-Having trouble scoring in general. Boozer isn't as good of a post up player as I thought. Easy putbacks off offensive rebounds don't even go in. Ugh...

What's the deal with backcourt violations not being called? The CPU will be bringing the ball up court then throw it backwards to the PG who is trailing well behind the half-court line... they're not even disputable, it'll be like a pass from the 3-point line to the PG who is practically at the other 3-point line. Neither are called, play just continues on. It's happened in two out of the three games I've played.

For the love of god 2k please remove that chest rebound animation.

The one where the rebounder goes sailing up 5 feet in the air, head above the rim and catches the rebound at his chest and just floats down with it. I swear it completely takes the point of positioning and timing out of rebounding and its just plain ugly as balls.

I'm having the bug where you don't see the name of the play.

I had my association freeze on me last night. I started it on Tuesday and did a fantasy draft. I started playing the first preseason game but had to save it right after half time. Last night I loaded it up and it was fine until the CPU called a time out. Froze up after I made my subs and it started to cut back to the game.

Issue: Foul Substitution logic.

My player mode, I haven't tested it in association. 10 minute quarters.

Players are not subbed out when they pick up too many fouls.

happens to my team mates and opposing players. two fouls in the 1st quarter and you hit the bench. Kobe, few other players can get away with 2 and get to play with it. Three fouls you're sitting. 4 fouls there no chance in hell any coach who isn't drunk will let the guy stay out there.
