What the game could use to become better is some tweaking, and I don't know what it is, to make it so scoring 100 PPG for a team in a 12 minute quarter game is about average.

Right now the game is off in pacing and shooting % to the point that it's a cruise to about 125 PPG in 12 minute quarter games.

2K12 can be exactly the same game - but with fixed calf sleeves - and it would still be improved.
      My Specs:

      ZX Spectrum
      CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
      GPU: Monochrome display
      RAM: 48 KB
      OS: Sinclair BASIC

I know. Its the best B-ball game EVER,my favorite sports game EVER.I'm still not convinced and realistic enought to realize they should half *** next year or that this is the limit,it's still a lot of room for improvement and innovations.I will give the A.I. engineer his props he's one of the best if not the best in the industry,I just had to throw that out there. O dont't get why everybody is going against me when I stated THIS IS THE BEST B-BALL game out & I'm completely satisfied with. Both copies.(Not Ps3 100%)

I don't even think the Jordan Challenge is going to be in 2K12. And I wouldn't want it to be. It's a cool feature, but I don't want it every year. They're going to have to go back to putting current players on the cover, so I think it's more likely that they turn the Jordan Challenge into the NBA Challenge similar to that of Madden Moments. At least that's what I'm thinking. Maybe every several years or so they will mix in a player specific challenge mode. Only time can tell.

the only thing that can top this years game is having a complete set of classic teams and be able to use them in a "jordan challenge" type mode.

              • Better help defense (2K11 saw a big improvement with this, but there's more to be done). Weakside help is still too slow to react.

              • More shot blocking and stripping from help defenders (in the paint).

              • Better rebounding and shot blocking physics or animations. No more of this big men skying for rebounds and block shots. There needs to be variance degrees in which small and big players jump for blocks and rebounds (just as it is now with dunking and jump shooting).

              • Realistic movement on defense. This means less sliding on lateral movement, less height on jumping when contesting a jump shot (when you're backpedaling and on your heels, you just don't jump as high as the offensive player that's moving forward). This also means that perimeter defenders should not stick too close (face guarding them almost) to their man. Denying the driving is better one on one defense than denying the jumpshot against most players.

              • Different rebounding, shot blocking, running, and dribbling animations for the bigs

              For CAP:
              • More body types and editable facial options.

If 2K leave the offensive side exactly as it is (perhaps re-inserting the walking animation) and just focus more on defense and the CAP feature, that would be more than enough for me.

The game has not been released yet. A sad day when ppl look forward to debating a game's faults before buying it...before enjoying it. I can understand your sentiment, everything can be improved upon. But right now, I will allow it to exceed my expectations for a few months first.

If a company doesn't think it can continue to improve it's product, they shouldn't be in business. NBA 2K11 for all it's plaudits is still a work in progress I am sure to the development team who will not rest on their laurels.
My teams: Leeds United, Central Coast Mariners, Denver Broncos, Florida Gators, Florida Marlins, Miami Heat, Brisbane Broncos.
My screen-name is a combination of my favourite college football player in Tim Tebow and my favourite ever Bronco, Terrell Davis (30).

Its like pausing and playing a movie throughout seeing it for the first time to point out spots where you thought the acting wasnt top notch or how you can improve upon its faults in a sequel.. lol

They can improve a ton on the create player/My player and create team options.
