This game is sick. I played 3 games yesterday, including the Jordan Challenge 1991 finals game 1. Jordan had 36 pts and 11 assist, so my averages are good so far. I still wish it was 12 minute quarters. LOL. Plus I won in a very tight game where MJ took over in the 4th.

I also played the 96 bulls vs the 96 sonics and had a blast. All I have to say is, JORDAN IS A BEAST!!! Wow. Also Byron Scott is overrated in this game. He's no joke. He and Worthy were hard to stop. LOL. Hopefully I'm able to get a couple of games in tonight. I played just on pro default. And didn't make any changes/adjustments during the games and had everything set on auto. I found the CPU to be pretty potent and I had a blast.

ALL STAR level CPU fast break effectiveness is at a whole other level.

Its been said before. Combine that with USER fast breaks that dont happen like they should, and thats really the only thing holding me back from true immersion.

CPU Jermain Oneal and Von Wafer are like Magic and Worthy in the fastbreak. Throw in Big Baby too. They are just way too quick and effective. At one point, I saw the entire CPU defense back before 4 of my guys even crossed half court... My only true fastbreaks happen when I take a guard and cherry pick after a missed shot and get a couple steps on the CPU... Even out the fast break game and I'd be a happy man

Love the game but the only thing that annoys me is the problem of cpu guys recovering too quickly after getting juked. Which slider helps with lowering the recovery? Tired of seeing guys leave their feet only to be able to recover before I can get around them.

Probably been said, but on sim pro, the picks aren't working for me at all..

Anyone else noticed that if you leave it on real FG% and sim setting your players can't shoot worth a lick?

I switched to player controlled shooting with the jump shot feedback on and my mid range and 3 point shooting percentages went up a fair bit.

Well I lost to OKC as the Bulls, I was leading by 10 after the 3rd period and they dominated the 4th....I lost 104 to 102. I do have clutch factor on so I am not sure whether or not I should leave that on in my season because Kevin Durant almost seemed unstoppable the last period even with me in his face....But then again I did have more turnovers than I should have too...

Someone mentioned to set the shooting sliders back to 50 when using real FG %..

I moved the 3 point shooting back up to 50 but left the mid range, short shooting sliders at the default sim level and have been getting pretty good results.

well i guess 2k didn't get everything right. rebounds off of blocked shots are still not counted as a rebound...

The one thing I like was that they got that goaltending call down. When the player sticks his hand in the hoop. And blocks the ball from underneath the rim.

                              My impressions on the game,

This is by far one of the most realistic basketball games I have played in...ever. Every game I get into, even if I am losing I am having a blast at some times There are things I nit pick on. I feel that CPU defense even though at times is artificial, I think is spot on. Yeah, the computer makes smart plays that sometimes they shouldn't
(example. The CPU has his back completely turned to the person who has the ball you throw a pass to someone within reach of that defender and he automatically knows where the ball is, and makes steal.) but I welcome that challenge. The CPU was a push over before.

Plays are perfect this year!!!! FINALLY!!! if your player gets bumped he doesn't suddenly forget the play!!! he will reroute himself and make adjustments to the play to make it work!!!

Online there is one thing I am mad about (mainly for the use of online leagues) is the fact you can't see the player that your opponent is controlling. With this, there is no way to tell if your opponent is playing onball defense unless they are blatantly flailing for steals. Hopefully they patch it....thats such an easy fix.

Other than that for online, Online plays exactly like offline now and the game is so smooth.....It will take some time to get used to...but it is a very much welcome change.

My overall Impression: 2k Really got it right this year. besides a few nit picks. I find myself enjoying the game again which i Havent done in years. thank you 2k

(PS: PLEASE PATCH IT SO YOU CAN SEE WHO YOUR OPPONENT IS CONTROLLING!!! otherwise your effectively ending "On Ball Defense")
