First new basketball game i bought in over 5 years. I play with the Knicks and it's gonna be so hard playing against top knotch teams online, but it breaks my heart to play with any other team. My impression, it's not easy, you have to no what your doing, it takes a while to get the hang of it, i9 bought it at midnight and I have to practice my butt off. I like the graphics and allmost everything about it, I just have a lot of work in front of me because I'm always online and if i'm playing with the Knicks everytime I have to be really good

Been messing around in Quick Game since copping at the local GS midnight release....

The game feels almost too good to be true, they've paid attention to EVERYTHING, it's just stunning. When MJ at the beginning turned and said "Are you ready?" I was like "What is happening right now?" lol

Bumped it right up to HOF, went 10 min qtrs on Sim mode untouched. First thing I noticed, is the stars attack you relentlessly. Played versus NYK and Amare got it down low the first 4 possessions.

Next thing, is the control is beautiful. I'm actually looking forward to spending the necessary time in practice mode, learning all the nuances of shooting and dribbling. The "flick flick" stuff is amazing. Pulling off stepbacks and pullups wit Melo and Chauncey just feel so good.

I did notice that guys are able to dunk in traffic a bit unrealistically (with the sliders untouched/HOF/Simulation). Not frequent at all, but in two 10 min qtr games, I saw JR Smith rise from the dotted with no real daylight, and Lebron literally went up over three guys and almost brought the rim down. Looked good, lol, but it was a lil unrealistic. May have to tone down the dunking in traffic slider.

But other than that, so far it seems like the whole slider tweaking dance won't be necessary this year. Jury still out though.

Check out this vid where I was controlling Nene and somehow got caught on Bron out up top. This is a great example of how stars will attack, and if there's a mismatch, they will punish you.

He just danced, had me tripping backwards, quick fake like he's gonna go, at this point I'm on a string.... then just pulls up. Swish. Having had him blow by for dunks on previous possessions, I was scared of the drive again.

Will play some more and see how other stars play. Looking good, and I mean "best-sports-game-of-all-time" good.

Its been along time since I have enjoyed a sports game this much .......this game is grade A......it has some issues but overall word just want do.....tou have to play it to understand....peace fellows...btw 360 ver

Played just a wee little bit of my player, doing some combine drills. Really liked the shooting drill. The drill where you attack the basket (forget what it's called) was kind of hard because I couldn't figur out how to spin or crossover. I just kept running into brick walls. But while out there, I did manage to get a sack on Jay Cutler.

In progress of doing the Jordan flu game in Utah and I am astonished. Watching Jordan with the black on red 12's bending over while putting his head down during free throws. AMAZING!!! The level of detail in this game is unmatched. GOAT sports title.

Just took it to a cheeser with CP3. I hope that this is a good sign. The guy was playing with the Heat. By the 4th quarter I was up 10 and Dwade had 4 fouls. My solid bball playing was beating out his cheese even with such vastly different teams. So far the online has been fun. thats really all I played last few months of 2k10 so Im good so far.

Love the Jordan stuff however my initial impression after 2 quick games, playing Jordan double dime challenge and 2 online games is actually bad.

I don't wanna overstate it but I feel like playing 2k10 just with an infinity amount of onball ai defense and the ai intercept slider turned all the way up. Not to mention I hate the new timeout presentation and the fact custom music for ps3 is screwed.

I don't wanna overstate it but I feel like playing 2k10 just with an infinity amount of onball ai defense and the ai intercept slider turned all the way up. Not to mention I hate the new timeout presentation and the fact custom music for ps3 is screwed.

I think they'll eventually be able to fix the custom audio for ps3 with a patch, pc users get no love though...
