Curious as to what everyone thinks of my 3rd year Timberwolves.

PG - Jonny Flynn 83/Steve Nash 74
SG - Wesley Johnson 82/Rudy Fernandez 72
SF - Gerald Wallace 84/Lyle Greene* 72
PF - Joakim Noah 75/Larry Sanders 71/Serge Ibaka 68
C - Raymond Fortson* 69/Noah/Sanders

Fortson and Greene are CPU generated rookies. Fortson is 7'3" 291 lbs. and a beast on the glass. He blocks shots with ease as well. Greene is a slasher with a decent shot, should be beastly in a year or two.

Right now I am 11-8 in a 29 game season, 5th in the West. I think I have a real chance of a deep playoff run.

Um.
1) That roster is (optimistically) 7 men deep.
2) Kevin Love & David Lee are more suited for PF.
3) Monta Ellis & Kobe Bryant are more suited for PG.

Looks like you pigeon-holed this one.

uhhh...Kobe is not more suited for PG...what are you talking about? He'
s been a SG his whole career... And Monta, while he is only 6'3" far better at SG being a pure scorer than being a distributor at PG.

Kyrie Irving and Norris Cole can be very productive players in the NBA, Dorrel Wright is a legitimate starting small forward, Jodie Meeks can light it up off the bech.

I would say your roster is 9 men deep easily. The only thing that concerns me would your center. The guy above was right about Lee and Love being PF. I would have kept Gasol or Bynum if I was you. Dampier is a legitimate backup center for defensive purposes, but you might want to get bigger at C for your starters. You should have no problems scoring with your lineup, but you're going to be destroyed defensively depending on what difficulty you play on.

If it was me, I would keep Gasol and Bynum. Much better overall than Lee and Love, especially on defense. You can get Monta for Odom and Shannon Brown, which is what might happen in real life, the Lakers and Warriors were in talks about this before the lockout.

Normally I play all the games, but I rarely get a chance to finish a season(especially this year with me playing The Show and NCAA 12 at the same time)...what's your startegy in regards to finishing seasons and advancing?

58-game season for me, and yes, I do play every game. Got 13 to go in my custom Association, using the 1990-91 Lakers.

Almost done with year 2 of my GS Warriors franchise.
Currently holding the 2nd seed with a record of 45-22.
Our team has been bitten by the injury bug, 6th man JR Smith, Starter David Lee, and back up PF Reggie Evans are all out.

Just lost a nail biter against the Clippers with Eric Gordon banking a very heavily contested jumpshot.

I decided to switch to FT stick timing after shooting 58% as a team on real player % during my 4 first games.

Today facing the tough Chicago Bulls (J.Kidd, A.Bynum, S.Jackson, OJ Mayo...) with Wesley Johnson in the starting lineup after A.Iguodala got injured in last game.

Next game and final game of a 4 home game streak (0-3) against the Milwaukee Bucks (D.Rose, Beasley, E.Gordon, Fields, Okur, Bass...)

So, I've started one using 1985/86 rosters (mkharsh33), and I did a fantasy draft and took control of the Grizzlies with the #1 fantasy draft pick. Currently, we are in the middle of a game against Atlanta, absolutely murdering them 61-44 in the 3rd quarter.... Our biggest lead was 21 points. I'll get back to more information later as well as a recap of this game.

EDIT: Alright, so Atlanta plays an absolutely terrible game in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters, and we put out our bench players in the 4th which they take advantage of. Ultimately, we finish with a 99-78 victory to jump to 1-0. BTW, this is year 2 of my association, and I don't really remember anything from the 1st year lol. Anyhow, in the fantasy draft, I drafted Larry Bird first, and at the end of the first year, he won league MVP. So now he's back this year, and in his first game he puts up 30 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks. My shooting guard, Derek Smith, put up 16 points, and my point guard, Johnny Moore, put up 15 points. Johnny got injured in the game against the Hawks, back spasms. The good news is he is only day-to-day.

Up next, we have a tight contest @ Dallas. Their only good player is... Dominique Wilkins. I just have to hope we play good defense and that Larry Bird does his part.
