Anyone with a Bobcats franchise notice how the presentation often times calls Tyrus Thomas Isaiah Thomas.

"To Brand, he's covered by, Isaiah Thomas" LoL

Thanks for the response. Actually it's more like I have 2 G's and 8 Forwards from the players that I listed in my post. I'm admittedly in rebuilding mode and actually said that they were small in size but very tall and long. I played a few games and it was block city.

A lot of money should be coming off the books and hopefully I'll get a high draft pick. Between the two I'm hoping to add a legit C & SG or SF. Perkins would be a good target in FA or maybe Melo if I get lucky.

I actually play with injuries off. He basically is doing spot duty at PG as DJ is getting 36mpg. I have Booby Gibson as well although I didn't list him. Either way he's just a hold over until next season.

      Rotation Breakdown

      DJ 6' (36)/Bell 6' 3"(12)
      Wright 6'9" (30)/Bell 6'3" (10)/Delfino 6'6 (8)
      Kirlilenko 6'9" (30)/Delfino 6'6 (18)
      Diaw 6'9" (24)/Ilyasova 6'10" (18)/Thomas 6'10" (6)
      Jefferson 6'11" (34)/Thomas 6'10" (12)

They may be "light weight" but that is still a lot of length (other than DJ) and interchangeable parts. Especially when it comes to being able to switch defenders. I kept Larry Brown's defensive philosophy in that regard.

I haven't caught that but I'll listen for it now that you've mentioned it.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

          I started a knicks franchise.

HOLY JEEBUS!!!! anthony randolph is insane

I'm in year 3 made a ton of moves, but I kept most of the bench intact

pg-wilcox-first overall pick after year 1
sg-tony douglas/brett booth-5th overall pick year 2 tony douglas good god can he shoot
sf-brett mullins-2nd overall pick year 2 he's a solid defender and that's been my achilles heel
pf-anthony randolph-oh my god his last game against the wizards 31 points 12 rebounds 5 assists 4 blocked shots 2 steals 1 turnover 14-18 from the field perfect from the line
c-amare stoudamire I can't really get him going but he seems to chip in huge baskets when i need them most plays great post defense.
martell webster is my 6th man plays about 15-19 minutes a game and when he gets hot he just doesn't miss and unlike korver or another better 3point threat he can create his own shot.
brett booth subs in and plays 22 minutes per game
then turiaf and mozgev play sparingly

in game 4 I played hte hawks and won by 3, came back from 14 down led by who else? anthony randolph. we were up 1 with 18 seconds left for some reason they doubled amare high post and left randolph alone for a huge dunk to put me up three. This was all right after he blocked what would have been a go ahead lay-up.

my mancrush on him knows no bounds

            Pacers trade, not too bad.

What I did in my Bulls association is trade for Courtney Lee to start at the 2. Tough defender and decent shooter. Also traded for Jerryd Bayless to backup rose and play some at the 2. Those are the only trades I made. I'm struggling though lol....2-8 thus far.

I just needed a change, I'm liking this association tho, I can't imagine the Bayless-Rose back court lol.

              Miami Heat Year 1

82 games (I will play each and every one of them)

12 minutes pro/custom JD's Sliders/default out of the box rosters

              Real FG/FT%

So we are now 28 games in and The Miami Heat sit at 18-10. Lebron James is neck and neck with Kobe Bryant as the leagues top scorer but he is making a strong bid towards a 3rd league MVP.His average stat line reads something like this night to night:

              30 points
              7 assists
              8 boards
              2 steals
              1 block

Dwayne Wade is kicking *** averaging 25 points and 5 dimes a game. Bosh is a monster on the glass averaging just under 12 boards a game and 16 points a game. Mike Miller is a beast off the bench averaging 13 points a game. My rotation is still going strong with a starting lineup of:

              Chalmers - PG
              Wade - SG
              Lebron - SF
              Bosh - PF
              Anthony - C

              Bench rotation of:

              Miller - 6th man SG/SF
              Haslem - Role Player PF/C
              Big Z - Role PLayer C
              Jones - Bench Warmer SF
              House - Bench Warmer PG

              Stackhouse - Bench Warmer
              Maglore - Bench Warmer
              Arroyo - Bench Warmer
              Howard - Bench Warmer

This team is killing it on defense and cleaning up the boards pretty well. Also Big Z is a top 5 shot blocker along with Anthony. After starting the season shaky we have had a steller west coast road trip winning 3 out of 4 then coming home and winning a huge game over New Orleans after they jumped out to a 12 point 3 quarter lead. We ended up winning by 8 to cap off our 7th victory in our last 10 games. After experimenting with Lebron running point a couple of games (when the matchup dictated a mis match) I scraped that and I run Wade at point when Miller and Haslem come off the bench first. I shift Miller to SG, Haslem to C (if he is not over matched otherwise Bosh will sit and big Z will come in along with Miller and Haslem). Lebron is just too good at SF and that is where he belongs 100% of the time. Every now and then I will match him up on a bigger SG if Wade is sitting or running point an shift Miller to SF. So much flexibility with this team. It's a nice problem to have.

I am loving the road trips and back to backs and being forced to go deep on the bench on those 2nd nights of back to backs.

I still have not done any weekly practices because of the trade star bug. I am eagerly awaiting the Association patch to clear that up so i can start doing the weekly routines to improve my role players.

I rarely ever play them at the same time. Mostly Rose-Lee. Overall, I need more explosive scoring. Basically Rose is my only scorer, with Boozer having good games from time to time. Might need to restart this and trade Deng....hmm...

                  2nd Year Cavs:

                  Ovl Player Mins

                  74 J.Gadsun 36 (3rd ovrl pick 2011 draft, 7'1, 70 potential)
                  --------------------------------------------------------

                  64 J/Foster 2
                  --------------------------------------------------------
I'm surprised Carmelo picked the Cavs, and coincidentally the number picked for him was 23. My plan was to sign Melo, Landry and Marc Gasol. 2 out of 3 ain't bad though.

My whole roster is basically on 1 year contracts except for Melo, Landry and my rookie Center. Will pick up the options on Hayward and Henderson, so that should still leave me with around 20+ mil for a big name FA.

What are the chances Chris Paul will join Melo and pick the Cavs? It's 100% guaranteed he is gonna be a FA. If the offseason goes my way, I land Paul and pull of a trade for Amare. Although the chances of trading for Amare without giving Melo are slim. I'm hesitant on giving up Henderson, Hayward and my rookie Center but I'll pull the trigger if Amare is the prize.

Thinking of starting up a Raptors association. It's going to be tough to rebuild them but I like a challenge.

What would you guys recommend I put CPU game quarter length to if I play on most likely 7-8 minutes.

I want the CPU stats to be comparable to what I get so I actually have a chance (once my team gets better) to win scoring titles and all that kind of stuff.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Cool, my Sixers association survived after 6 games! I lost Tyreke during game 4. Separated shoulder, out for 4-6 weeks. I also got Jerryd Bayless and Jason Smith (back to PHI haha) from the Hornets. I traded away L. Williams and an '11 2nd round pick.

Currently 5-0. Going to NY next. I'm thinking of making it more difficult. Maybe superstar then lower the CPU's sliders of mid and 3 to 40?

                      EDIT:
Holy crud, I'm currently fighting the Knicks and with 5:52 in the first quarter, I just lost Evan Turner to a torn labrum. Wow, bad luck. Looks like Casspi and Bayless must step up big. No Tyreke, No Evan Turner.

                      EDIT AGAIN:
I gave up on this association. It's hard getting realistic stats with two similar players in Tyreke and Evan. Haha. Oh well.

                        LoL!!!! Funny stuff there.

I'm playing AGAINST the Knicks right now in my Kings Association, and it's Azabuke that's absolutely destroying me!!! He's got 24 at halftime (I had to save it last night and go to bed, I'll finish it tonight.)

He's jammin all over me, hitting threes... It's UGLY! I'm losing by 15 at halftime.

My Last game: I came back from 27 down to beat the Magic in overtime

Currently using the Heat made a few trades

Heat got: 2011 1st and Carroll
                                Bobcats got: Chalmers and Anthony

                                Heat got: K. Perkins, Splitter
                                Bos. got: 2011 Heat 1st, 2012 Heat 2nd, 2011 Spurs 2nd.and Stackhouse
Spurs got: Haslem. and Celtics 2012 2nd

                                So my lineup is
                                PG:Arroyo
                                SG:Wade
                                SF:LeBron
                                PF:Bosh
                                C:Perkins

                                Bench
                                6Miller
                                7House
                                8Splitter
                                9Jones
                                10Pittman

I'm also thinking about tweaking Bosh tendecies, so he will spend more time in the post. As he plays now in the games kind of pisses me off. Either that or trade him to ATL for Josh Smith. He may not be a great scorers like Bosh but he is a better Defender esp..blocking shots and rebounding is a wash between the two. Plus Smith plays with a mean streak which i like from my Bigs, hence the reason i traded for Perkins.
