I'm not saying this just because I used trade override, but I don't think there's complete shame to using it if you pull off a fair trade benefiting all teams involved. Let's be honest, the trade logic, although improved, is still flawed. For those true sim players who like to keep it real, they are probably more knowledgable about executing fair trades them helps them build their team (even if that means trade override) as well as not completely 100% robbing the AI teams.

Obviously there are guys that abuse trade override. But for the true sim players, if you think of a trade that's reasonable and fair, it really doesn't make sense to me to not make the trade just because the trade logic is flawed.

That's just my two cents though.

i agree but last year i abused alot lol. i agree with you like if a dumb trade happens in real life than i'll use trade overriide to it but just for personal use iono cause now they made it easy to make teams better this year.

Agree about the trades... i get offered stupid trades all the time... Bosh and ___ for Rondo and Allen, etc.

However, in my association, my team is about 32-12, 4.5 games back of the Heat who have 8 losses.

Rondo 12.9 points and 6.1 assists on 6 min quarters.

Ray Allen has 12 points per game, including a 41 point outburst in which he went 7-12 from 3.

No trades made. No free agent pickups.

Weird moves in the league have stacked the Lakers. Lakers have made moves leaving them with Eddie House, Hedo, and Ben Wallace.

Utah traded mostly trash and got Rip and Prince.

lol my Knicks are now officially 0-7. I ended up changing Gallo's sig shot to Bargnani's (Simple.) He can actually shoot the ball now. I gave Anthony Randolph High Follow (I don't know if I'm going to go with that or not) and Landry Fields has the Hold It release, I can't get him to hit a shot with the textbook release, I don't know if I can't get the timing down or what

I figured I want to start a franchise of my own tomorrow. Now no matter what team I am, I will sign my 73 rated SF rookie. So what team do you guys think I should run with. P.S. I might put Pippen and Jordan in FA. I will also have "prime" AI in the FA. Anyways suggestions???

I started with them too, and Flynn and Johnson are definitely keepers. K Love pulls in the rebounds even though he's not spectacular.

I traded Beasley for Kendrick Perkins since we had no centres over 60. I also acquired Channing Frye (who is on a TERRIBLE contract) in a complex trade and halfway through the season I manage to trade Frye for a disgruntled Greg Oden!

Someone justify to me why the AI made this trade. Oden was very unhappy, but seriously... It only cleared the Blazers 2m a year in cap space, they lose their best centre and have to have Channing Frye.

Wow, at the half of Kenny Cross' NBA debut, he is looking like the next Jordan. With 18-30 shooting, Cross took 1/3 of the team's shots, and has 43 points! Coach Perry said this to reporters at halftime:

"Well, you know, he was making shots left and right, and when someone catches on fire like that, you just have to keep feeding them."

Eventually, at the start of the second quarter, Cross missed his first shot, and struggled from there being triple teamed every play. Cross also had 5 assists, so don't think he's not sharing the ball.

Started the spurs franchise. I made a couple off moves before 1st game.

I signed my SF to a 2year+ 2team option.

I traded Richard Jefferson, Antonio McDyess, Bobby Simmons to CLE for Anderson Varejao, Jamario Moon, and Leon Powe.

I released Garrett Temple and Gary Neal.

I signed PG Marcus Williams and SF Gerald Green.

I'm about to play my first game. I'll let you know the results.

Had to restart the above game with Kenny Cross because my power went out. Starting a new one, and with 47 seconds left in the 1st, Cross has 29 points on 11-13 shooting! He's unstoppable going to the rim, and he makes LeBron look like Brian Scalabrine.

I beat the pacers 91-90 in 1st game.

Alright, about to really start my season without it freezing (hopefully!). Saw no potential players I want to draft, so I decided to trade my 2 1st rounders for Darren Collison. Definitely worth it, because he's only 24, gives me a great young 1-2 combo (Collison and Cross), and his speed is amazing (98 speed and quickness).

I understand trading Jefferson in the game, you can't shoot the ball with him. He an play average defense and drive, but you get more than you give when trading him. Bobby Simmons was just cut anyways, so McDyess is the only one I don't know if I would've traded. He's got the midrange jumpshot and is a good rebounder and decent defender. I guess Varejao's a better rebounder and defender though. He and Splitter will do nice in the rotation.

You're killing me getting Leon Powe though haha, they've got enough bigs and he's 6'8. Size or lack thereof can be an issue in SA. It'll be nice to have Moon there though. What made you want to cut Temple and Neal? They'd be decent D-League material. Marcus Williams and Gerald Green are good signings though.

Good stuff man, nice first game. I forgot about your SF, that really helps haha. I was thinking Moon was gonna have to start.

Wow, just announced on my franchise that Tim Duncan and Chris Paul will test free agency. Imagine a lineup of:

PG: Chris Paul
SG: Darren Collison
SF: Kenny Cross
PF: Tim Duncan
C: ?

Undersized, but still, that's a dominant team! And don't even say Paul and Duncan won't do it, because everyone knows that Paul wants out of New Orleans to win, and Duncan wants to add to his ring collection.
