Not in my opinion. They're good, but with them, they lose a little youth in Evans, and don't really address anything that pulls them out of the lottery. Rondo has two years left on his contract iirc, and bradley has 4 years of team control left. Rondo who would have no reason to stay in Sacramento without that potential secondary or star player in the lottery, would most likely leave. Evans and another lottery pick are also far more marketable than Rondo and Bradley.Support Local Sports

Ok 4 years is different. But it still doesn't take them out of the lottery. And I wouldn't trade away rebuilding pieces while im rebuildingSupport Local Sports

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
How about these trades? Not realistic, because we'd never trade both Rondo AND Pierce, but I want to know if they're FAIR? I'm looking to get a few young solid pieces AND have enough cap for both Paul and Howard, and these trades would allow me to do that.
Boston gets: George Hill, Paul George (edited potential...he just happened to be one of the players I always edit so his potential is C and he doesn't turn into a Kobe...I do it to lots of players to make progression more realistic, so keep that in mind), both their 1sts (keep in mind now with this trade, Indiana is now a playoff team, so these aren't lottery picks)
Indiana gets: Rondo, Allen
Next trade...
Boston gets: Antwan Jamison, Alonzo Gee
Cleveland gets: Pierce, Avery Bradley, Brandon Bass
So yeah, I made different trades so I gave more and got less, but I feel it puts me in GREAT position for the offseason.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
In my first off-season using SIM-WORLD association file.
During the first season I traded Brandon Rush + Kwame Brown for Stephen Jackson. I ended up as the #8 seed and lost in the first round to OKC.
I also swapped my 2013 1st with their 2012 (ended up being #6 overall). I thnk I am going to trade the picks back because I think it was unfair. What do you guys think?
I ended up as the #8 seed and lost in the first round to OKC.
I have no first round pick and am looking for ways to improve in the offseason. I am thinking of getting rid of Monta. Is this realistic?
Warriors trade:
Monta Ellis
Jazz trade:
Al Jefferson
My lineup will be
S. Curry / (N. Robinson)?
K. Thompson
S. Jackson / D. Wright
D. Lee / E. Udoh
A. Jefferson / A. Biedrins
Is there anyway I can trade up for a late lottery pick in order to get Austin Rivers? The only player who I am willing to part with is D. Wright as I feel I can easily replace him in Free Agency with someone like Bill Walker.
Warriors Trade:
D. Wright (contract year)
2013 1st round pick
Warriors receive:
Rights to Austin Rivers (should be #10ish pick)
I could also maybe take on a bad contract
I am thinking about signing Aaron Brooks or Isaiah Thomas to back up Curry instead of bringing Nate Robinson back. If I make all of the trades above I will also try to sign a decent SF to back up SJax.
What do you guys think of all these moves and how realistic are they?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Does anyone think this is fair deal for all involved??
Magic get:
Bynum
K. Martin
Dragic
Lakers get:
Howard
J. Nelson
Scola
Rockets get:
Gasol
Richardson
Blake
Some picks could be thrown in also. Funny thing is the Lakers seem to be making out the best here but they won't accept.Gametags

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
In my second season with the T'Wolves
Timberwolves trade: Derrick Williams, Anthony Randolph, 2nd round pick
Sixers trade: Andre Iguodala
Iggy is already saying he may test free agency, the Sixers get an up and coming SF as well as a PF since Elton Brand is way past his prime. Both Williams and Randolph have good potential. A and B+
I lost in the conference finals last year to OKC and this year so far in the season have lost to them due to not being able to slow down Durant, so Iggy is the perfect fit. lineup would look like this
Starters
1.Ricky Rubio
2.Wesley Johnson
3.Andre Iguodala
4. Kevin Love
5.Andrew Bynum
Feedback please...Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Chris Paul
George Hill (moved him because he shoots like a SG)
Paul George (he's 6'10" now and should've been playing SF the whole time)
Antwan Jamison
Dwight Howard
Backups:
E'Twuan Moore (at PG)
Alonzo Gee (at SG), 2nd round rookie
Maurice Evans
JaJuan Johnson, 1st round rookie
1st round rookie
Is it TOO unrealistic? I mean, the trades would never happen, but they make sense for both teams IMO and they're pretty fair. Also, like I said, I think if we had Hill and George as good building blocks AND the cap space, both Paul and Howard would want to team up. Anyone think Howard and Paul puts it over the top for unrealism?Comment

After my two trades, I made enough space for both Paul and Howard, and if I made those moves IRL and had the cap for both, no way they wouldn't both go to BOS. So, after simulating one season and making two trades, here is my starting lineup:
Chris Paul
George Hill (moved him because he shoots like a SG)
Paul George (he's 6'10" now and should've been playing SF the whole time)
Antwan Jamison
Dwight Howard
Backups:
E'Twuan Moore (at PG)
Alonzo Gee (at SG), 2nd round rookie
Maurice Evans
JaJuan Johnson, 1st round rookie
1st round rookie
