Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Playing with the TWolves Association at the moment.
After 9 Games the CPU offered the following Trade
Wizard get Beasley / Rubio / 2nd Rnd Pick 2013 from TWolves
Twolves get Wall / Veselly
Should i make the trade, i love wall and he wuld fit perfectly in my Run `n Gun Offense. But i Think the CPU rips itself of with this trade.
Any Sugestions on this trade ?
At the Start of the Season i made some other trade moves what dou you think about it ?
1st. Trade at the start of the Season
Bulls get Darko Millicic / Antony Randolph
TWolves get Kyle Korver, Omar Asik
I think good trade for both sides, Bulls get a younger PF for the future years and the Twolves a not so bad defense C for their bench
2nd. Trade at the start of the Season
Cavs get Brad Miller / Anthony Tolliver / 2nd Round Pick 2012 from TWolves
TWolves get Omri Caspi / 2nd Round Pick 2013 from Cavs
First i thought i was the big winner of this trade because the TWolves became a good 3pt Shooter of the bench, but after half of the Season Miller is Starter ( Varajo is Injured ) and he averes 7,1 ppG and 7 rebounds
3rd Trade after 3 Games
Raptors get Martel Webster / 1st Rnd Pick 2013 from TWolves
Twolves get Rasual Butler / 1st Rnd Pick 2013 from Raptors
Webster wasnt performing well and was unhappy with his role and playing time. I try'ed to look for a team where he could be a starter and i found the Raptors . For the Picks, i traded them because i was hoping that the Twolves would perform better this Season. Rasual Butler is a good 3pt shooter who will be also coming of the bench
4th trade after 4 Games offered from the Pacers
Pacers get Wesley Johnson / J.J. Barea / 1st Rnd pick 2012 from Twolves
Twolves get Paul George
Both PG Injured and Hill was out for the Season, so the Pacers asked for this trade. George was performing way behind of Barbosa and Jones but i know that he had potential so i confirmed the trade.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Using SIM-WORLD association file with the Warriors. Here is my association thread: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...sim-world.html
Thinking of making this deal in the offseason:
Warriors receive:
2012 1st round #9 from Detroit
Rodney Stuckey (74 ovr) from Detroit
Suns receive:
Monta Ellis (84 ovr) from Golden State
Stephen Jackson (74 ovr) from Golden State
Ekpe Udoh (66 ovr) from Golden State
Detroit recieves:
Markieff Morris (68 ovr) from Phoenix
2012 1st round #10 from Phoenix
So the pistons move down one spot in the draft and swap Stuckey for Morris. This allows them to dump some salary and fill their need for a young PF.
Phoenix loses a good prospect in Morris but still has Frye. Jackson and Monta give Nash a chance to make a run in his last season. Monta can also take over after Nash retires and Udoh is a good prospect.
The Warriors give up a lot but pick up a lottery pick and a solid player in Stuckey. I plan on drafting Perry Jones or Quincy Miller in the draft. This deal will allow the Warriors to go after Dwight Howard or another big name in free agency.Last edited by NoSkillz50; 03-24-2012, 06:51 PM.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Stuckey does not progress past 74 (maybe 75 if lucky). Morris will progress nicely and definitely has a higher ceiling than Stuckey. I think I will throw them a 2nd rounder from the Suns.Comment

Im the Celtics:
Celtics receive: Drew Gooden and 2012 2nd round pick
Bucks receive: Jermaine O'Neal
OR...
Celtics receive: Chris Anderson and 2012 2nd round pick
Hornets receive: Jermaine O'Neal
Either way, Im getting rid of O'Neal, I've never liked him with Boston, whoever I get will be the starting center, I tried for Kaman, but too much money and not enough assetsBoston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'm starting an association with the Kings. They are surprisingly deep and I love Tyreke, Thorton, Isiah Thomas, and Jimmer. They have some quality bigs too with Cousins, and Thompson. I decided to make a few trades to remove the log jam they have at SF ( they have like 6 SFs with the latest roster updates lol )
Traded: John Salmons, '13 1st Round pick
Received: Paul Milsap
Salmons does not have the most ideal contract, but the 1st round pick makes this deal fair in my eyes. It also makes both teams better, as Milsap will be an instant starter for me, and Salmons gives the Jazz a SG to carry on after Bell retires and while Burkes gets up to speed.
Traded: Fransico Garcia
Received: Hasheem Thabeet, Portland '12 second round pick, '13 second round pick
Definitely lost on this deal, talent wise, but it worked out for me. Garcia was due over 8 million a year for 2 yrs. Thabeet's contract is a little over 5 million a year. By making this trade, I was able to cut my budget, and re-sign Jason Thompson, to a 1 year extention (+1 year team option) worth a little over 3 million a year. So I removed a marginal SF, got two 2nd rounders that I can trade together for a Lakers or Heat 1st round pick, and re-signed a young PF, while maintaining the same budget. The reason why this is a big issue is that I am sitting at the 18 million of cap space for next offseason so if I can maintain that, I can maybe swing a deal for CP3 or Deron.
Traded: Terrence Williams, Travis Outlaw
Received: Richard Jefferson
Actually did this one tonight and forgot all about my strategy with maintaining plenty of cap space for the off season, but this trade was done because I need a wing that can knock down 3s. None of the guys at SF could do that with any regularity, but RJ is rated at 90 from down town and he can light it up.
I also signed Mehmet Okur to a 1 yr deal to see how he works out. The threat he gives me from deep has really paid off. He has knocked down 2 threes in both games this yr and that is with limited action. He could really help me out if I have to go to him more if we get hit with injuries. I'll be looking to keep him around.
So my lineup is:
PG: Isiah Thomas, Jimmer Freddette
SG: Tyreke Evans, Marcus Thorton
SF: Richard Jefferson, Donte Greene
PF: Paul Milsap, Jason Thompson
C: DeMarcus Cousins, Chuck Hayes, Mehmet Okur, Hasheem Thabeet
Any thoughts or advice about this team and these trades? This team is amazing. I have both starting bigs averaging double doubles in the first two games, Isiah Thomas is averaging over 20 ppg and 10 apg (lol) and Reke is averaging 25 ppg with Thorton as the 6th man averaging 18 ppg.Rikers Island Jail Inmates

But then again, I am looking at drafting Meyers Leonard or Tyler Zeller, so I could let O'Neal's contract expire and let Stiemsma and Hollins get some playing time.Last edited by UNDERTAKER1215; 03-25-2012, 10:56 AM.Boston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
O'Neal is in the last year of his contract, its $6.23M, then Gooden is making $6.20M this year and has 3yrs left after this year, then Anderson is $4.23M this year and has 2yrs left after this year, then I figured the 2nd round pick was just a throw in. I could also try for Milicic.
