Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
In a Lakers association, trying to get rid of either Bynum or Gasol, preferably Bynum since I've grown a liking to Pau and know him and Kobe have a good relationship, Kobe and Bynum... not as much. Haha.
So I went to propose a trade and stumbled upon this... now I don't know if the CPU will accept, but I want to get an opinion before I try it...
Nuggets get:
Andrew Bynum OVR 84 (4 star value)
Matt Barnes OVR 72 (1 star value)
Jordan Hill OVR 64 (1 star value)
13 1st round pick (1 star value)
Lakers get:
Wilson Chandler OVR 81 (2 star value)
Javale McGee OVR 72 (2 star value)
Kenneth Faried OVR 66 (1 star value)
Kostas Koufos OVR 56 (1 star value)
Fair or not? If not, who gets the raw end of the deal? I personally think Denver comes out a little better than I do in the trade.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
jj for gordon maybe in real life since gordon plans on leaving but with contract you would have to include kaman or okafor and then it's not fair, would need to include picks but I don't like gordon's game anyway plus he's selfish IRL (talks about wanting to be top scorer in league over and over, don't really need that with josh smith who is already borderline ******** on offense)Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Need some help. In the second year of my Magics Association. Approaching the resigning deadline and Dwight Howard is not resigning with, his status went from undecided to testing free agency. So, with that i'm going to try and move him. I've been trying to think of a fair realistic trade. I know that I want him in the western conference, there is no way i'm putting up with him in the east. I'm thinking the Lakers are the likely destination, because they have two possible players that fit the team I want to build, in Gasol or Bynum.
Just throwing it out there to see of you guys have any ideas on some trades for Dwight. I prefer another big man, I know I can't replace Howard, but a serviceable big man is a must.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
He is in the last year of his contract, and will be a free agent at the end of the year. So, if I don't move him by the re-signing deadline, he will be able to sign with another team at the end of the year.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
move him for bynum and maybe a 1st round pick from the lakers, suggest raising bynums tendencies to put up more shots as he can be 20/10 consistentlyComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I was just curious to see who I could get for Avery Bradley and a 1st rounder. Atlanta offered me Al Horford and Josh Smith for KG, Bradley and my number 1 pick. Charlotte offered me 2012 first rounder and 2013 first rounder for him. I didn't take either one because I want to play this season out with the Celtics and not blow it up.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I control a 30 Team Association with the Kings and before game 1 of the opening season, I decided I wanted another post scoring option to go along with Cousins (BEAST) so I was looking around and stumbled upon this...
UTAH gets:
-John Salmons
-Jason Thompson
-'13 1st Round Pick
SACRAMENTO gets:
-Paul Millsap
-C.J. Miles
-'12 2nd Round Pick
My squad is now...
PG - Isaiah Thomas, Aaron Brooks, Jimmer Fredette
SG - Marcus Thornton, Terrance Williams, Francisco Garcia
SF - Tyreke Evans, CJ Miles, Travis Outlaw, Donte Greene, Tyler Honeycutt
PF - Paul Millsap, Chuck Hayes
C - DeMarcus Cousins, Hassan Whiteside
Like I said, I have a 30 Team Association, so I can't really see if the CPU would accept it or not (not like it matter, the CPU trade logic is so immensely stupid) but I thought it could be a fair trade because the Jazz have solid post building blocks already (Jeff, Favors, Kanter) and the Kings were really slacking in that area... any thoughts on this one?
ALSO, I want to get rid of Evans. I have a feeling that once his contract is up, he's going to want another HUGE one, and I just don't have that much faith in him... also I am pretty overstacked at the SF position... I was thinking straight up...
NOH gets...
-Tyreke Evans
-2012 2nd Round Pick
SAC gets...
-Eric Gordon
-2012 2nd Round Pick
It gives the Hornets a younger building piece that is not so focused on playing for a winner (also, more versatile playing PG-SF) yet sending Gordon to the Kings, giving them their much needed star wing player. Plus I think if I can prove to Gordon, by making the playoffs (wishful thinking), that he will stick around once his contract is up. All though he will cut into Thronton's playing time, I think it will be worth it in the long run...Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'm in the 2nd season of my Knicks 30 Team Association.
Knicks Get:
PF - Charlie Villnueva
SG - Ben Gordon
Pistons Get:
PF - Amare Stoudamire
Basically switch Detroit's 2009 FA for New York's 2010 FA. Pistons get a "star" and a strong front court with Monroe and STAT. Knicks get the outside shooting they desperately need. On paper, it seems that I got low balled but as someone who plays most of the games, STAT wasn't working well for the team but it wasn't going to rip off the CPU either.
