Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
you cnt get them if you the knicks unless packing amare. yo wouldnt wanna get melo because he becomes a free agent and so do paul so in other words dont waste your time cause they not goin resign back once you get them. and is tarted one with the knicks and i got iguodala but i get him no matter wat team i use lol. but iggy a good number two but not a good shooter but he's someone you would want cause he got alot of comparisons to scotty pippen as s they can handle the bal good, get to the basket and draw fouls plus he dont take away from the stars. if you can get him he would be a good number 3 when you get melo and a good number 2 for right nowMLB- Reds

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
see the knicks came up with the plan to get one each offseason meanin this offseason go after melo than the next offseason go after chris paul and when you look at the two players they become free agents one after another. so they plan on havin thier big three in the next 3years at the most by signin them. if you trade melo you only have him this season and he leaves to go to a new team meanin he dont wanna resign back and same with paul.Last edited by thaone08; 11-01-2010, 10:42 PM.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
How fair are these two trades? They both went through
Blazers Trade:
Fernandez (68 OVR- 26 YRS)
Andre Miller (74 OVR- 34 YRS)
Knicks Trade:
Raymond Felton (75 OVR- 26 YRS)
Some srub to even the cap
After that was done I did this trade.
Blazers trade:
Batum (75 OVR- 21 YRS)
Oden (74 OVR- 22 YRS)
Felton (75 OVR- 26 YRS)
Bulls trade:
Rose (87 OVR- 22 YRS)
Deng (77 OVR- 25 YRS)Comment

I think I found a trade that'll work for my Miami Heat as I am getting frustrated with both Chalmers and Arroyo at PG as they can't play very good defense and they can't shoot, making them virtually ineffective for me. So I put Chalmers on the trade finder and get offered Grant Hill + Dwayne Jones from the Suns for Udonis Haslem + Mario Chalmers. Now I wouldn't dream of trading Haslem as he is the heart and soul of the Miami Heat franchise, so I work it a little bit and I can do this.
Waive Jamaal Magloire to free roster space
Sign Wally Sczerbiak with part of my mid-level exception for a 1 year/$2.48 million deal just to make contracts match-up.
Trade Mario Chalmers + Wally Sczerbiak + 2012 first round pick for Grant Hill.
Re-sign Jamal Magloire for a 1 year/$1.35 million deal, the same deal as he had last time.
I think it makes sense for the Suns as I am 18 games into my season and the Suns are somewhere around the 12th or 13th seed at this point and are doing terrible. They made another trade to clear some space by acquiring a expiring contract in Tyson Chandler for Hedo Turkoglu, so it looks like they are about to go into full rebuilding mode, and getting a young PG along with first round draft pick, and also provides a decent replacement SF.. Makes sense for me as I can mix and match with Grant Hill, Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, and Mike Miller at PG, SG, and SF. Hill is a B+ at outside shooting so it also gives me another pretty good outside shooter. Can someone give me thoughts on whether this is fair and makes sense? Thanks.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Sup guys?
Bulls Association: a few moves.
Ronnie Brewer, Taj Gibson, James Johnson, 2012 2nd Round pick
To DET for:
T.McGrady, Jason Maxiell and Austin Daye
Signed AI (only way to get the Deng for Granger trade to work)
*Deng, AI, (2) 1st Rounders for Danny granger, & Jeff Foster (feel some type of way about this trade, but it worked out well, was trying to add TJ Ford to the deal but couldn't, it would've made it a bit more realistic IMO bcuz they wanted to unload his contract)
*** trade finder:*
CJ Watson, Asik, Kyle Weaver, Keith Bogans*
To LAC for*
Brian Cook, Deandre Jordan & Randy Foye
Starting 5
Rose
McGrady
Granger
Boozer
Noah
Bench:
Foye
Maxiell
Korver
Jordan
Daye (this guy is a work in progress)
Cook
Foster
Thomas
Lucas
Wanted to surround Noah, Rose and Boozer with another star (Granger) and a lot of depth (Foye, Maxiell, korver, jordan, Mcgrady) Feels some what like the Blazers of the eastern conference. Fighting for minutes is the biggest issue but I'm a figure it out, yet to play a game, just been running live scrimmages just to get a feel for the team, only issue so far is who to start at the (2), I tend to let McGrady go one on one too much, like he's still in his prime lol, might sixth man him and start Korver, Foye can play both guard positions which is better for me Jordan's offense is better than Noah's so ima squeeze some time in for him, Daye is the gold figure I'm most likely going to send him to the D-League and play games with him there, I don't want to take that chance on the big stage I'm trying to at least become the 3rd seed. But overall I feel good about this team.
