Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
kings assoc. simmed the first year let go all expiring contracts, 39-43 record missed playoffs, 10th pick in draft got jan vesley 76 ovr... signed melo to 5yr deal in off season an then i got greedy after filling out my roster with some bums, i swung a mid-season 3 team deal for chris paul, the hornets got three first round picks and beno udrih and the bobcats got vesley.. realistic? hahaha, but fair or not? starting five is paul, evans, anthony, thompson, an cousins (pauls contact is up at the end of the year an i expect a championship will make him stay so i can have kings-heat finals every year lol)Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I got a real blockbuster for you here.
Timberwolves get:
C Hasheem Thabeet (64)
PG Greivis Vasquez (63)
Grizzlies get:
PG Luke Ridnour (73)
C Kosta Koufos (58)
Only reason I did it was because I can't stand Luke Ridnour in real life and I thought the Wolves needed a better backup for Darko other than Nikola Pekovic. Let me know what you think whether or not I boned myself.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Some of these trades, most in fact, make me shake my head. The title of the thread is "rate" my trade. Rate it in terms of what? Reality? Fairness? Being able to build a super team of young studs?????
Actually, I do get a little enjoyment of some of the reasonings behind the trades. For example, one person decided that since Denver didn't have Anthony any more they would give up a couple of 1st round picks for Josh Childress?!?!?!?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'm still starting Darko, Thabeet has the offensive skills of an amoeba I just wanted another big man to block/rebound. Also, I know it isn't a blockbuster I was being sarcastic, I assume you know that though.Comment

He isn't worth the cap. His agent is a genius he has been paid so much during his career that hasn't really gone anywhere. His post D rebounding a shot block ability is what makes him an attractive back up center to me.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Can someone help me find a trade? In my 30-team Association, Emeka Okafor went down for 6-8 weeks. The next game, David West is out 2-4 weeks. I'm looking for a big that can fill one of those spots and be the 1st big off the bench when they're healthy.Purdue Boilermakers
Washington Redskins
Washington Wizards
Washington Capitals
Washington Nationals

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
im in year 1 of my suns association ( rashidi's rosters) and i have gortat and frye out for almost 10 weeks each. we are currently in 2nd place behind the lakers and i am in need to an athletic power forward. We are about a week before the trade deadline and really need to make a move. i was thinking about either jeff green , serge ibaka or thad young as they are all athletic and young. both okc and 76ers are doing poorly this year (in game) and 2 of those players are in final years. any thoughts on what to offer or any other bigs to go after? i was hoping to move a sf since phoenix has petrius, dudley, childress and hill. Thoughts? thx roabsComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Both of you guys who need bigmen, Serge Ibaka is a really good replacement, he is doing pretty wwell for me both rebounding and shot blocking, he doesn't play offense for me, he just plays defense. Anthony Randolph might also be a nice additionChicago Bulls 1996
Dallas Mavericks 2011
Boston Celtics 1986
2001 LakersComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Just made a block buster trade in my Heat association (Serpentine fantasy draft):
Heat trade:
Michael Beasly
Kelenna Azibuke
Jordan Hill
2nd round pick
Heat get:
Danny Granger
Demar Derozan
Fabricio Oberto.
So now my team is
PG-Derrick Rose
SG-Eric Gordon
SF-Granger
PF-Andray Blatche
C-Andris Bierdrins
