I'm playing on pro/sim myself, and 7min qtrs during combine and summer circuit. Will chang to 12min once season starts since I'll actually be subbed out of games then. Wish I could use my sliders I have going right now but it's all good, game plays great on pro/sim

I'd think it was a great shot and I'd make it and get nothing.

That and constantly getting blamed for people scoring when it wasn't my man but I was just the closest cause I was trying to help my teammate.

Got drafted by the Wizards which sucks cause they got John Wall already, plus I'm not a fan.

Anyone know if you can get on a different team, or should I just throw the summer circut and purposely not make the team and try to work my way onto another team?
I'm a 6'5" PG as well and you can definitely get higher than a B for your grade. I play on Superstar/ simulation/ 10 min quarters and I got A+'s for 2 out of the 3 draft combine games. I still have 1 more game left to play in the combine, but right I am projected to get selected 10th by the Pacers in the first round.

Also just because you make shots, doesn't necessarily make a good shot. You have to pick your spots better. But there is a few times when I take an open jumper and they call it a bad shot, but besides that I can't complain about the badshot selection.

Pro/Sim/12min. Ray Kinsey 6'11 Center, Back to the boards. Drafted 1st rnd 24th pick by the Hawks. We're 2-1 just beat the Pistons at home in the most intense game I've played so far, I'm liking the ATL but Denver's interested so I think a trade is in his future haha. This game is legit, haven't played a B-ball game since 2K8 or bought one since Live 97, and I. AM. LOVIN THIS SH*T!!!

How many games do you have in the Draft Combine and Summer League? Last year that seemed to take forever!

              Chris Wise
6'1" Athletic PG out of Pittsburgh
              All Star/Sim-7 minute quarters

Used all my points on speed and received speed bonus for each dribble drill (6), went to combine with a 97 speed rating and improved stick skills! (still can't get the half spin down 100%) Averaged -A grade and was drafted to the Heat (2nd round, 2nd pick)

Currently working on my pass, ball handling and ball security before I focus on scoring.

Is it possible to change the season length from 82 games? (to 29 or 58 for example)

On defense, just because it's not your man doesn't mean it's not your responsibility. If you are the closest player to the man with the ball, then he becomes your responsibility. For example, if you go down to help play D against Dwight Howard, then he kicks it to Carter and you are closest to him...you are responsible for him. Is that 100% fair? Not really, but that's why basketball is about team...you can start all of the best individual defensive players on one team and they won't be able to stop anybody unless they play like a team.

I think you need learn a bit more about basketball before you complain about the game.

Jesus could you of misunderstood more.

                  1. I know that just cause I made it doesn't make it a good shot. But, sometime I WILL be what I consider wide open and I won't get credit for good shot selection. My problem is with what's considered a good shot. If wide open isn't considered good shot selection I don't know what is.

                  2. On defense, I realize that helping is part of the game, but if my teammate get's beat and all I'm doing is make a last ditch effort to block the shot, even though I know there's little chance, if not impossible. I shouldn't get docked for doing everything possible to help. If I was a worse teammate I wouldn't help at all and wouldn't get penalized, but would I be a better teammate? Nope.

My problem is just that I think sometimes the logic behind docking you is off and the logic behind what's considered a good shot selection is kinda random.

I understand the game just fine.

                            6'2 SG 3PT Specialist.

Went through the combine and had pretty good numbers. Averaged in the 20's in PPG. Got drafted 1st Round 30th Pick by the Wizards. Went through summer league and again averaged in the mid 20's in PPG, yet I didn't make the team and I got sent to the D-League. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I thought all 1st Round picks got guaranteed contracts and a spot on the team? Or do I have a contract, but I'm just in development?

                              6'6" athletic shooting guard.

I played the games before the draft started and had a B overall, averaging around 8 points per game (on 5 min quarters). I was drafted 30th by the Memphis Grizzlies. Then i went through 4 summer games and scored about 8 points a game with a B overall still (on 5 min quarters) and made the team.

I'm now playing games in the NBA Made it in one night - doesn't seem anywhere nearly as hard as the IGN review said it would be.

I'm a 6'6 Athletic Shooting Guard. The combine was easy besides having to guard Evan Turner the first go round. I averaged 22 points 6 rebs and 10.5 assists (laying down those LeBron Miami heat stats) Got drafted by the Rockets in the first round (guess they want to trade Kevin Martin cuz dude will be riding that pine pony ) I haven't started the summerleague yet but I know I will beast that.

Playing on Allstar Simulation 12 min quarter. And for some reason My player is easier than Association games.

Gonna be Rookie of the Year DAWG (in Tommy from Martin voice)
