Just played Warriors (me) at Nets (CPU) on Pro Sim and lost 70-64 on 12 min quarters...I've realized it's hard playing with a team like the Warriors because it is near impossible to push the ball like they do in real life...

That then puts the Warriors in half court offense the whole game which they suck at...

I have low scoring games starting off because I sucked lol. 2k10 really spoiled me. But once I got the isomotion figured out and bumped the three point slider to 47-48 it was just find. Plus you have to realize the average NBA game is going to be aroun 87-95 points so you aren't always going to get those Phoniex Suns/Golden Stated Warriors game scores that are in the 100s. I say once you get your omovement down and LEARN THE PLAY BOOK! you will be fine. You can't freelance in 2k11 (in Da Czar voice). You have to put in work in practice your plays and run scrimmages to be better and freelance in case the play breaks down. This is very vital if you are playing with teams like the Celtics. Plus if you are playing with a GARBAGE team you will have a harder time scoring because 9 times of out 10 they dont have a star player. PLAY BASKETBALL BREH. BALL HARD OR PLAY NBA JAM

Yeah I'm not getting over 20 points in the first quarter. I'll try the slider suggestions though. I play on pro. Can anyone explain the difference between default and simulation? And is anyone here doing slider sets?! There's like none in the slider forum...

12mins Superstar Sim..

Usually average 18-28 pts a quarter.. Scores of course fluctuate depending on who I'm playing..

I play on Sim/Superstar on 12 minute quarters and I'm getting realistic statlines (minus the cpu's steals). I posted up 2 statlines from 2 games I played today in the impressions thread.

The league average last year was over 100 ppg. NO team averaged less than 90 ppg and only TWO teams averaged less than 95 ppg.

Do you see every team scoring 120? Nope. Having a couple of teams score in the 100s is just fine with me my dude. i just need my threes to go in a lil more lol.

I just dropped 132 with the Nuggets on All-Star sim, and lost to the Grizzlies who dropped 140.. too many pts for my liking what am I doing wrong?

Ok I get that. What I am saying is if I am scoring 80 points with the Lakers a team like The Suns or Warriors should be trashing me like 95-80, 100-80 if it’s just I am playing bad. I am beating these teams and holding them under 80. That’s not realistic. Based on what I heard about this AI they should be stomping me!

Why should my running offenses correctly have any bearing on how many points the CPU scores? Why would that cause The Suns who are the highest scoring team in the NBA last season to shoot 30%, and 23% from down town all game?!?

This could have to do with your style of play. In other words, nothing may be wrong or need changing.

I try to play the Lakers like they run their team in real life, and I try to make sure not to mess my assignment up on D (I either take Bynum or Bryant depending on who I am playing on D). I freely admit I am not the best at running plays but am learning, I just don’t understand why the CPU is so horrid at shooting? I guess what concerns me is that if you would have told me I only scored 80 points at the Suns I would have told you I lost by 15-20, but I won by 6.

I plan on playing against the Heat tonight, if I see another 30% shooting performance I am going to be alarmed something is wrong with 2k11. I will let everyone know.

Turn the sliders for shots up a lil bit it helps my games are in the 90s and low 100s
